Those are 2 different people. I have seen the actor in the video before in either a movie or a tv show. The person standing next to Hurley, I've never seen before.

Just listened to the podcast for this week, and a couple interesting things were mentioned...
Regarding "Alex," -
When Charlie is walking out of the building from the commercial shoot, the building in the background is from the Pink Floyd album "Animals," but spoilerish to the show is the sign that was supposedly on the building (though they said it was smaller than they wanted - and I can't read it), it said
