I have a general questions about LOST.......

I have a general questions about LOST....
.....or maybe more so about Hawaii.

Does anyone know what type of trees we see in the jungle scenes that look like abunch of really tall skinny trees all bunched together? Are these a bunch of individual trees or are they one tree and this is just how they grow? I've been really curious about these trees as I have never seen anything like them before, and they have come in really handy on this island as places to hide, etc....

I just heard on tv (might have been Entertainment Tonight) that if you add up the "lucky" numbers you get the number that was painted in the mural.

Are we expecting this show to run regular time tonight?
Don't need to pad an extra 2-3 mins. or anything do we?

I don't think Shannon saw Walt last week, just before it Sayid asks her how long it's been since she ate or slept so she could have imagined it like Jack imagined his father when he hadn't slept in days. Maybe this week we get to see what happened to Walt.

I wonder how Locke knew not to touch that button? Did he get the message from Walt?

He probably got it from the guy holding the gun to his back.

Considering this entire episode is a crosscut of the first, the 2 minute recap made sense.

Yeah it does make a bit more sense now.

I really enjoyed the view when Kate was crawling through the air duct.

Anyone notice that the "shark" had the same logo on its tail that's all over Desmond's place?

Anyone catch
Spoiler:
the logo on the shark when Sawyer was just about to swim to the pontoon? It was the same logo that was splashed all over the food provisions in the room Kate was locked in.

Walt gets a polar bear stuffed animal from Micheal the last time he sees him when his mom is moving to Rome.

I was thinking the mechnical shark bit, but I couldn't see shit. Great episode overall, didn't cover a whole lot new material, but it was damn entertaining. Nice use of the "Same events, different view point". But.. GODDAMMIT DO I HATE WHEN EPISODES END.

I'm guessing a lot of the coincidences in the show are just that, but they're fun anyway.
