Maybe they'll revert back to the old format when they see their daily traffic take a nosedive. Like most others have mentioned, the site LOOKS better, but is LESS easy to use because of the new clunky interface. Part of the appeal of TVTome was that it was a text-heavy site. It's like they want to rip off Zap2It.com, while still having all the old TVTome info as well.

... they have no sense of UI.

Naked information was beautiful... no need to put a pretty dress on it.

I can't believe I typed that...

When will web site idiots learn that it's CONTENT first, that keeps people coming, not flashy bells and whistles. It's off my bookmarks until they tweak it.

me too
first time I noticed the change I thought firefox had one if its hickups where it doesn't go to the correct site if you don't type in the full address and instead type in the first couple letters and then use the arrows or mouse to select the autocomplete address.
it does that a lot to me when trying to go to ebay. I type eb and then select ebay.com from the list but it goes to ebgames instead

Good God it's horrible. I just visited it and it's so damn slow. Took me forever to scroll down an episode guide on my cable modem.

Terrible.

Well, now it's like all of the other c|net sites, shitty UI choices with Flash all over the place slowing it all down.

I stumbled across it the other day trying to find something out about Entourage - and it does suck complete ass. Nowhere near as user-friendly as it was before.

Frankly, the old tvtome was a little to fast, and also to easy to navigate. This site has taken care of both of those problems.

Yeah, no way to put lipstick on that pig.

I like it and you can add your favorite TV shows to your profile.

You know, as much as I hated it the first time I saw it, now that I've had time to create a profile and play around with it, there are quite a few really cool features to this site. It's no TvTome, but at the same time I think it may fill a void that TvTome didn't.

No one is saying that some of the features of the new site are not nice (favorite shows being one of them). But given the choice, I'd gldaly take the old layout back and lose the new features, if that was my only choice.

Ideally, going back to a cleaned-up version of the old layout, with some of the new features, would be the best of both worlds.

Not sure I agree with that sentiment at all, but to each his own.

As far as I know, TVTome didn't allow you to add your favorite shows to your profile, giving you one place to track news on ALL your favorite shows. Tv.com does. That is but one thing that is of value to me, at least. That's all I was saying. What is valued by me may not be by you, which is cool.

Yeah, what is that? At first I thought it was just a mirror, but it has a CNet minibanner at the top. Or was that there in the last days of the old TVTome?

The banner was there for the last couple of months that TVTome was open if I recall.

All the links works, fellas. It's TVtome.com but without the redirect.

I know the links work, but if the people who were keeping everything updated have moved to tv.com, then it isn't very likely thate any new updates will appear here.
