off the top of my head, and purposely without picking more than one character from any show.....
1. Special Agent Dale Cooper - "Twin Peaks"
2. Edina Monsoon - "Absolutely Fabulous"
3. Jerri Blank - "Strangers With Candy"
4. Barnabas Collins - "Dark Shadows"
5. John Crichton - "Farscape"
and since picking only 5 was just too hard....
