Gave up on Reverie after a couple of episodes. Just another far-fetched procedural.

Just about ready to give up on HBO's Succession. Just a bunch of idiots. Amazing to think that Kieran Culkin could be the best thing going for a TV show.

Counterpart (loved it, just required way too much concentration...)
The Americans
Legion (just too bizarre and non-linear..but I love Noah Hawley's Fargo)
13 Reasons Why
Fear the Walking Dead

I still need to watch season two yet they go out of their way to be weird-bizarre just for the sake of it. It's not hard to follow or anything. It's like the TOO many shows that have to do some trippy dream or vision quest every other episode.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

I finally gave up on Walking Dead and have also given up on the CW superhero shows I was watching (Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow) as I was getting burned out on all of them.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

So one of my biggies just got nuked, I had about 10-11 Bull's to catch up on and just could not muster up the enthusiasm to watch so I deleted. I also deleted HBO's Divorce (4-5 eps behind, no desire to watch) and I forget the other show that got deleted.

I am putting words into action and deleting shows that I thought I would keep watching...so, I need to take a deep breath and delete Supergirl (behind by at least 23 eps). I am this close to deleting all of the NCIS shows. I watch them all but I skipped the season finale of NCIS: LA, skipped the last 4 episodes of NCIS (or maybe just the last three...Abby's departure was a three parter right?), and skipped the last 4 of NCIS: New Orleans.

I skipped LA's finale because it sounds like they are fricking with the Deeks/Kenzie relationship and not in a good way, and the New Orlean's eps because one of my fave characters left the show and the Pride in political/mortal peril storyline did not interest me.

My Spring/Summer cleaning of my Tivo continues apace.

Preacher - Haven't recorded any of the new season, and I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

The first half of FtWD's S4 was a major shake-up and is worth watching. TWD continues to go through the motions.

I did end up finishing the last season of TWD and didn't hate it. I'll get to FtWD eventually...I've heard enough good things about it to invest the time.

I quit Modern Family because Julie Bowen is in a relationship with Tucker Carlson

And that affects your watching of Modern Family how exactly?

The Good Doctor. Once again I had a pretty hefty backlog of at least 7 episodes and not even a slight desire to catch up.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

bailed on 'Peaky Blinders' after barely 2 seasons....struggling to stay interested in 'Ray Donovan' after about the same length of time.

But then again maybe its because I've been more in a "movie watching' frame of mind just lately

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

Reminds me, I gave up on Ray Donovan last season mostly due to the back-&-forth time displacement structure - I hate that shit.

I also recently gave up The 100. I really liked the first few seasons, but I stopped caring some time during this season as I was getting whiplash from how much characters would change randome and inconsistently, letting the plot drive them instead of the other way around.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

I finally quit watching Supergirl about fifteen minutes into the last episode (4.6). I had long ago moved it to the least important time to watch a show (background on weekend mornings), but I still felt a sense of relief after letting it go.

I guess I've finally given up on the Walking Dead and Supergirl. I have two seasons of each on the TiVo that I'm never gonna watch.

I just cut Midnight, TX. There’s so much to watch and it’s good, but not good enough that it’s not building up on the dvr.

It has bits that are reminiscent of the UK series, but as an overall, there's no comparison. I'll finish it, but it's far from good.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

Is there such a thing as quitting temporarily?

I’m so far behind on NCIS New Orleans and Bull that I stopped recording the current season. I know the entire series for both is on CBS All Access, so I can always come back when I have more time. Same with Blue Bloods. Like the show, not quitting, but I’m a season and a half behind.

There’s just so much and so little time to keep up with it all.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

I dropped Doctor Who because of the mess this latest season has been.

Been considering dropping Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl but haven't quite reached the decision to finally be done with them.

Re: What shows have you STOPPED watching?

Normally I don't drop show and it's more of on hold or I'll see what happened.

Maybe if the ones I put on hold had shorter seasons I could keep up. With so many shows on these days I can't keep up with everything.

Macgyver, Elementry, Walking Dead, Blindspot, Only got a bit into Fear The Walking Dead, Legion is another one that takes a long time to get to. Good yet they are trying too hard to be weird.

Don't really count a new show I was trying out as it's just that. (Cloak and Dagger......DO SOMETHING!!!! Four episodes of yelling and being mad back and forth)

I'm I season or two behind on a couple shows that I do intend to catch up with.
