For being the fifth to last episode of the series - this was a really bad filler episode, imo.

The writing was bad, the story was boring, etc., etc. I can't stand Audrey anymore either, but she was the only funny part of the show ("let's play Doctor and the Naughty Nurse" ). Don't mean to threadcrap, but I was hoping for much better that will help tie up the show. There seems to be a lack of urgency to wrap this story up properly.

Hmm...didn't realize Oliver Hudson was Kate Hudson's brother until just now.

Actually, I didn't think the episode wasn't all that bad, then again, I enjoyed the reactions of Adam and Dr. Drew to the main characters' predicaments.

But, I must say that it's so strange to watch the early Dawson's Creek episodes, now into Season 3, (ReplayTV'd from TBS) during the commercial breaks of the current episode.

I'd play Dirty Doctor to Audrey's Naughty Nurse. I thought she actually wasn't bad last night. Seems she back to her crazy self when she first came to the creek. Eddie has to go away. I was happier when Pacey & Joey were back together.

Anyone tape Dawson's Creek 4/16/03?

I got major rain fade today and wasn't able to tivo Dawson's Creek. Did anyone in the SF Bay Area (or elsewhere for that matter) tivo or tape it and would be able to dump a copy to tape for me? I'll gladly pay for the tape and shipping. If you're on the peninsula in the Bay Area that's even better, I'll come and pick it up. Email me if you can help me. Thanks.

I'll be miffed if Joey and Dawson don't find their way back to one another.

Aye, Jack and Grams are barely on and there storylines are so much more interesting then the find a new love early in season, have fights with them throught out and then break up with them at end so new cast comes.

I dont think I going to get my wish, all i wanted them to do was honor DC fans enough to have alittle Andie. I got bad feeling not going happen. Keven left after first season, what are odds 2hour finale in future would have her or even Jack write in for that matter? Not his characters right? sigh

Oh that pic of Busy cracks me up as I have seen her in Real life with my friend that was extra on film they did in our area called Smokers. Either there is amazing surgical procedure to remove hundreds of moles, birthmarks etc, or they really know how cover that stuff up!!!!!! Actually actor that did Eddie was in this awful flick as well, I guess that is where DC show got both of them.

ACTUALLY... Pacey had a BIG role in this episode:

Joshua Jackson directed it.

It's OBVIOUS how it'll end:

Spoiler:
It takes place 5 years in the future.
The show lasted 5 years.

Dawson is writing a screenplay about teenage life, and got inspiration when looking at pics of his friends.

In the finale, we'll learn that the show we've been watching all along is just the TV series that Dawson Leery wrote

thought it was me, since i was one of the few to mention him. oh well.

i'd really like them to focus on the main characters these last few episodes. no jack's bf, no cj, no eddi, and definitely no audrey. a little grams, a little mrs. leary, and maybe a little emma (to wrap up whatever is going on with her. is she deported already?) wouldn't hurt, but going back to basics is always a good idea when you are trying too hard and getting nowhere fast.

I ripped nothing off. I don't read Dawson's sites. I may watch the show, but I'm not a 15 year old girl, either.

My inspiration came from the clues in last week's episode, plus other shows' similar finales, such as:
Spoiler:
"Roseanne" where we learned in the finale that the whole series was a book Rosie wrote, with some changes (like her sister was lesbian, but when she wrote the book/show, she isn't.) And "St Elsewhere" where we learned in the end that the entire series was just a story being told to a child about a hospital seen in a snow globe. "Newhart" (the 80's version) didn't really exist either as we found out it was just a dream of Bob's character from "Bob Newhart Show" of the 70's.

There's a long histoy of series finales telling us that the series didn't really happen - that everything was just a book, dream, whatever of the main character's.

I'd be sort of disappointed too if they don't let us in on whatever happened to Andy in the series finale.

I have a pretty good feeling we will. Cuz one of the things Kevin Williamson said--in the interview about him doing the finale--that he wasn't so happy about after he left the show was how the producers treated the "Andie" character.

No kidding, Andie got relegated to "Andrea/90210" duty it seems in season 3, being the one who

Spoiler:
cheated on the PSATs, cheated on Pacey, became a hypocrite presiding over the student disciplinary board.

Shoot. I accidentally caught 2 spoilers for this on E!:

Spoiler:
Jeremy Sisto (Elton from Clueless) will be playing Joey's bf 5 years into the future and to those who are wondering, Meredith Monroe will indeed be back to reprise her role as Andie
