snowmaker: that's like someone trying to come right into Season 4 of 24 and understand it, which you won't. Start from the beginning

Altough you really dont need the 3 seasons to follow the main story going on right now, you are missing a whole lot of back story and history of the characters, which is what is making all the sub plots so confusing.

Opening montage....very cool. I still think my favorite disguise was the kabuki makeup.

MARSHALL!

Spoiler:
"Sydney, SLOANE'S HERE!"

Spoiler:
But where is Marshall's wedding ring?

The introduction of Marshall brought a big smile to my face.

And him whispering: "Sydney - Sloane is here."

I do hate watching this show live - ABC can't go eight or nine minutes w/out cutting to a commercial.

Hell, they went the first 20 minutes before any opening credits or commercials.

And who is the guy that put a contract out on her? She seemed to recognize the name.

I little predictable, but I gotta trust JJ. I think he's trying to tie up some of the loose ends and get the show back on a better footing for the rest of the season.

Whoa...having Irena Direvko (sp?) be behind the hit threw a wrench in the mix.

But, Weisz alone is worth the admission.

Nadia joining not a good idea. She's thie year's Lauren.

Jack can't win. Every move he has ever made is to help protect his daughter, and almost every move he makes backfires and hinders their relationship.

Sydney needs a female foil...Good episode, I like that they are trying to recreate "SD 6" from the first season a bit. I still like Sloane as a bad guy, so hopefully they will go more that angle.

I've read that they are going to try to rely a little less on the Rimbaldi storyline as the only means of driving an episode, which is good for gaining an audience, but kinda sucky for those of us wanting to know how it's all going to play out.

I thought the premiere was a little on the dour side. Plus, it was so dark, didn't make it fun to watch during long stretches of the 2 hours.

I thought the black-light documents showed Jack heading up Project Christmas, and Sydney being a by-product of that project.

I was amazed that it took about 52 minutes into the first hour to mention Rambaldi.

I guess Lena Olin's hardline stance forced JJ and company to write her character out of the show with this turn of events. Of course, the mystery of why the hit was placed on Sydney, and then having to staying one step ahead of Nadia before Jack and Sydney can break the news of who had Irina dispatched.

The new nicknames are cute. When will Weiss get wise of Sydney's real new career move?

It would be nice if Sydney was happier more often though. Did she ever graduate from grad school?

Are they isolating Weiss so they can write him off so Grunberg can star in "The Catch"?
