Storm Large = RockStar: Supernova

Janelle = Big Brother 7: All Stars

I am not sure what all his tattoo says, but I can only make out the large "Detroit" on his neck.

Is he even from Detroit?

The tatoo is his son's name on the top
and then on the bottom it says "Love of my Life" in Italian

i totally agree!! they are just trying to keep the people who are good for television in the mix i think...

even though her dress was poorly made, she had made things prior to this challenge that were way superior to anything that Vincent has made throughout the season!!

i liked that michael won, though...i think he is a real contender for the final 3!

Something about playing with the silhouette blah blah blah, whatever, they mostly just look unflattering to me.
I'll defend the one Daniel V. made last year before I praised the other ones you mentioned. I remember that challenge distinctly when he used the flower for inspiration, and I thought the top that he made looked just like the flower it was inspired by. But overall, I see your point.

I think Vincent was kept because of the nuttiness he brings. Let's face it, Santino shouldn't have stayed in the competition as long as he did last season. Vincent is this season's Santino, although without as much as talent. He won't make it as far as Santino, but the judges tend to like the artsy types.

Well said.

Because neither V. nor Allison had a realistic shot at winning the competition, it doesn't hurt the producers much to keep the one they think will create the most drama in future eps. Sucks, because I also had a crush on Allison.

And Vincent IS due for a mammoth breakdown.

who are your top 3 picks thus far for the final?

i am going with laura (the judges seem to eat up her designs), michael (coming in from behind) & ulle (not sure how they write her name).

My girlfriend and I watch this show together and she was consistently complaining that Michael and Uli hardly got any screen time. I told her that's probably because they end up staying the longest, so will be focused on much more in the later episodes. Anyone else think that's a fair guess?

I agree...he has the classiest of outfits, and is really good at the construction. I dont think I remember any disasters with him at all.

I gotta say, Jeffrey really behaved badly. There was no excuse for his actions...and his mother making excuses for him explains alot about his addiction problem. Looks like there is no accountabilty there.
I understand she was probably trying to sabatoge him, but that was a risk with this challenge, and it seemed everyone else handled it with class.

I think part of it is that Michael and Uli are nice and not causing any drama. But they also will probably be around for awhile. Coincidence?

Jeffrey was a bad one. As Mrs. Pusser said "it's not nice to be mean to the mothers".

About his turn to (not) pick he later said, "I ended up with Angela's mom because I think God got drunk today."

What did that mean?

Robert's sister was cute and Vincent's sister was bigger than I thought from first glance.

But Robert's sister had almost no camera time. Did we ever hear her speak?

Good job w/Uli and Caine's mother's outfits.

I must be in the minority because I was on Jeffrey's side and I thought Angela's mom was a psycho-bitch. She tells him she likes purple and he goes out and buys purple fabric and then she complains behind his back to Tim Gunn? First of all, totally passive aggressive and second of all, it was too late for him to change the color at that point. All he said was that he just needed to make it work at that point (which I thought he said rather nicely considering) and she got all bent out of shape crying about being "talked to that way". If not batshit crazy, she was overly sensitive and seemed to just want to cause drama. I must have missed where he was mean to her, because I sure didn't see it.

Now I know why Angela is such a piece of work.

I do agree she was the most difficult to work with, but Jeffrey had no class in handling her. Her outfit was awful. I just think it proved he has absolutely no people skills and would be hard handling clients.

Jeffrey is in a business where pleasing the customer is essential. Trust me, Angela's mother is going to be easy compared to the stars Jeffrey is trying to design for. It was up to him to rise to the occasion and I was not surprised he wasn't up for it.

Jeffrey whole attitude was based on the fact that he had a plus sized model. No one wanted to design for them, which is understandable considering the challenge in doing so, however, designers like Kayne and even Robert were professional and rose to the task at hand, positively.

Angela's mother stated she liked dark green and he comes up with this ream of periwinkle fabric. He didn't try to assure her, didn't tell her the dress would be mainly made of the darker material, wasn't approachable and when Tim came around she vented. Not saying she didn't have any responsibility, but she was the client, Jeffrey could have told her, "You know, time is limited, if you trust me I'll make you look great." Instead he was condescending, "Well, that's just your insecurity...." C'mon.

And two more points, Tim is there as mentor, he has no input on the judges designs. Quite often the designers have sent him away in disagreement with his thoughts and have faired well in judging. Jeff shouldn't have thought of her talking to Tim as an act of sabotage, heck, if Tim could make Vincent disappear from the face of the earth he would, so Tim should have been sent packing and Jeff focus on the design.

AND after all of his bravado and rudeness, he creates a dress not fit for the Sears clearance rack.

Maybe the part where he told her to get away from the table?

Maybe it's just my taste, but I don't think this season's contestants are nearly as talented as last seasons. Only Uli and Michael have been consistent. Laura has good tailoring skills, but her designs are boring and repetitive.

Kayne has been hit or miss and Vincent is Santino without the talent.

Bring back Nick, Chloe and Daniel!!!

Why they heck do they keep showing Laura and her kids? I don't give a damn about her 6th kid.

Focus on the show instead of a creepy red-headed female version of Lurch.

Maybe that is why every one of her designs are high waisted...she really is designing maternity clothes.

Is that slang for her boobies? Because she sure does like showing those droopy things a lot.

True! What is that about?...42 and still showing more skin than any other girl on the show, who probably all have less saggy ones than her?!

Thought Jeffrey should have taken off. He just gets on my nerves!

Guess there is a huge backlash against Heidi for calling the Allison's model a fat Minnie Mouse and that she looked like a plus size model. (She's 5'10" and a size 4).

Really?! I hadn't heard that...it's true though...hello, how can someone who is a size 4 and that tall be called frumpy or whatever?! No wonder so many girls have body issues these days!

In case someone hasn't seen it yet.

Wouldn't that suck to fly all that way and then get eliminated?

How about that judge? I liked her ruthless criticism to the two finalists for leaving.
