I could be wrong since I only watched it live, but I don't think the music came out of nowhere. I remember Gob quickly pressing a button on a remote control to start the music. Still, it's one of the many funny parts of the episode.

And, uh, am I the only perv who thinks that Kitty's boobs weren't big anymore? Maybe there's a storyline with her getting her implants removed or something.

Well, It didn't show him pressing a button on the remote, and when it cut to where you could see his hands, it was on the table as he was blessing everyone with pennies. The remote was also exactly as it was when we saw it before the music played, and when the music did start, his hands were up in the air with the remote on the table. It was implied though that he pressed a button, seeing how Michael turned it off with the remote himself.

Either way though, it still came out of nowhere. One second we are seeing a serious business meeting, and then BAM!

A magic show.

It did show Gob pressing the button to start up "Solid As A Rock" though, heh.

This was my favorite episode so far! I started watching about the last month or so of season 1, I'll be picking up the dvd's very soon.

You guys are nuts, Marta 2 is way hotter.

Marta is hot period, I don't care which one we are talking about.

This is one of my favorite episodes also. I've re-watched it so many times, and each time feels like the first to me.

This episode was up to Arrested Development's level -- hilarious. All the play on words had me cracking up, especially the "Seaward."

Wow, I never noticed the different Marta's before. Wasn't Marta2 also on Rescue Me over the summer?

And the backwards slashes have been annoying the hell out of me too! A Mod should correct them.

I finally got to see this yesterday in its entirety, and it was fantastic. My favorite little moments:

Gob using the side pocket as a cupholder for his whiskey

The plaster in Gob's office walls due to the hole from the week before

I want my kids back

Michael calling Ann "Egg"

I loved the payoff on that joke: at the end, when Lindsey gets rejected by Thomas Jane, they pan over to a bright blue newstand and then the camera focuses in on Tobias in the background -- only this time, he's in silver and black.

I totally didn't get the 7 minutes either...thanks.

As for the Martas...in the show I prefer the #1 but in the above posted shots...#2 is looking rather tasty...even moreso than #1.

i agree on the above photos...

marta 2 looks hotter, but hey, could be because she's topless.

in the show, marta 1 was hotter.

To be fair, Marta1's photo is just some candid shot from a publicity event. While Marta2's photo is from a professional photo shoot - she happens to be a model - Marta1 is not a model.

I didn't get the 7 minute thing initially either, but with the Mission Accomplished banner, it made sense in context.

I find this show confusing.

Since there's no laugh track, I don't know when to laugh.

Shouldn't this show be cancelled yet? Bring back Full House or Family Matters! Now THERE'S two shows that tell me when to laugh!

I just watched the Bringing up Buster episode... you're right, Marta 1 is in it, but in a throwaway shot that's less than two seconds long. It's so funny too because she gets the first credit as a guest star. This was one of my favorites from last year because it had the cornballer in it.
