I also loved the reappearance of "I've made a huge mistake," the Bluth family motto.

at the bottom of the picture, it did say "Photo Courtesy of 'Mommy What Will I Look Like'"
So it was her thing, but it looks like the writers were confused as to what they said it did orginally.

Great episode, but Buster Bluth is no Buster Keaton.

I could have watched this episode in "real time" last night but I decided to watch my recording of it because I find myself using the 7-second rewind button a lot on this show, exactly because there are so many little jokes flowing through from scene to scene.
I know I rewound back to the picture of Kitty and George's "what their child would look like" photo and froze the frame to get some extra laughs out of it. I did the same with George's infomercial product that caused arm burns on his Mexican captors/cops. And I also rewound all the Tobias blending in with the surroundings while tailing Lindsay. Just too many little funny bits to relive in a 22 minute show.

"Freeze Frame" jokes are nothing new to those who watch animated shows, particular The Simpsons, Futurama, and Family Guy. But Arrested Development is the first live-action show to really have them.

is that the same girl that played anne last season? I don't remember what she looked like exactly, but the girl last night was very mannish.

The Mayo-egg made me want to both laugh and barf, which is a first for me during a television comedy.

Anyone else notice that one of the Tom Jane posters said "From the directors of Dangerous Cousins"?

Last night, I watched it live and then immediately watched it again. The bits I caught the 2nd time included the Mission Accomplished banner and Tobias clinging to the side of a blue truck.

"Let's all settle down"
Might not have them exactly correct, but still very funny!

While I'm glad they didn't cancel the show, I'm still pissed at Fox's treatment of Arrested Development.
I spent all day Saturday drywalling a friend's basement and we had the radio on. I heard the same commercial for Sunday night on Fox probably a dozen times over the course of the day. They hyped the season premiere of The Simpsons (even though the Treehouse episode already aired), discussed the plot and played a clip from the episode. Then they hyped the latest reality crapfest Big Fat Boss show with a description and a clip. At the end they basically threw in "oh yeah, the Emmy Award winning Arrested Development" would be on between the two shows.
Which of these three shows won an Emmy? Which one got the least promotion? I guess I can be thankful they even remembered it was on. Fucking Fox...

I tend to agree, but they did win an Emmy so they were getting the word out to someone... plus whenever Fox hypes a show , it seems to turn into crap, so maybe this approach will work

I disagree, i think Fox has advertised Arrested Development quite a bit. Not so much this last week, but for the season premiere i must have seen as many promos for it as their other shows.
