I disagree, i think Fox has advertised Arrested Development quite a bit. Not so much this last week, but for the season premiere i must have seen as many promos for it as their other shows.

Who am i kidding though, its obviously always the networks fault when a show doesn't draw an audience and gets canned.

"I heard zoo noises."
In the history of TV, that is one of the greatest lines ever.
The blue circle is classic also.
Tobias blending in everywhere.
Gob's music playing out of nowhere as he unleahses the pennies all over the table as he shouts "TWO WEEKS, LET'S DO IT IN TWO WEEKS, HEY!" had me rolling, oh my God that got me.
Bah, I can't list everything is great from each AD episode, there are just so many.

In a hilarious little inside joke, we'll now be getting an "Ann 2". See, the young lady who played George Michael's ladyfriend in Ep. 122, Alessandra Toreson, has been replace by a new actress for the early goings of Season 2, Mae Whitman ("JAG", "Chicago Hope"). You may remember the 2 actresses who played Marta in Season 1, so I'm guessing this will be an annual joke.
Also, Mo Collins will show up in episode 2, as will John Beard, reprising his Season 1 role of "John Beard".

CBS moved into first for the night's second hour, as "Cold Case" posted an 11.7/17. ABC was second with the first hour of the American Music Awards. NBC's "American Dreams" (5.5/8) tied with FOX's season premiere of "The Simpsons" (6.6/10) and the season's second new "Arrested Development" (4.5/7) for third.
It's doing better than Obnoxious Boss though.

ha ha. one of my friends (who watches AD every week) also didn't know there were two martas. And it's not like they looked alike at all.
Like it was said, Marta 1 was pretty hot.

But Marta 2 was no slouch either - she's a model and played the Mummy's cursed love in those horrible Mummy movies.

I was in the mall and saw Marta 2 in front of an Express modeling some women's clothing - it's nice to see Marta 2 expand beyond Mexican soaps.

It was easy to miss. Marta 1 was only in one episode, and it was early on. But yep, way hotter.

Actually, Marta 1 was in like 2 or 3 episodes.

I just ran through the first season on DVD and Marta 1 is only in Key Decisions (the 4th episode of the season). Marta 2 took over when her character showed up again in the 7th episode.
Because there was no Marta for 2 episodes after her character debut, a lot of people didn't notice.

According to that IMDB link she was also in Bringing Up Buster. I think they ran some of the episodes out of order the first season, so I think literally one week one woman player her, the next week another.

I just noticed the "There's nothing on the inside!" gag by Gob as he was pointing to his head, but was talking about the new fake model home.
