Oh yeah, we finally get to meet some of the "red shirts" in some very brief scenes.
I just KNEW there were other people on this island!

Yeah, when he said "Jim, Joe!" or whatever, I said "grab your red shirts and follow me!"

Not a whole lot going on in this episode. Though I did enjoy the Hobbit's backstory.

He saw a moth fly away and it put a big smile on his face.

Previews for next week look freakin' awesome.

By the way - I wonder if they have even introduced the person who clocked Sayid as he was triangulating the French woman's signal.

I loved it as usual. Especially liked Charlie's backstory. How he was the good son and everything was flipped by the time he stepped onto the plane.

Locke is the coolest character. Seems like they are building him up though, only to have something happen to him.

Yeah, I think Locke is the best one on the show. I would like to see more of him.

Every week it seems more and more to me like the big mystery of the island could have a religous slant, but especially after Charlie's backstory. Him and Locke will probably start an Iron Giant cult.

This show is like an action-adventure soap opera, and I'm really enjoying it. I like how we get to learn the backstory of a different character or two in each ep. For some reason I think more survivors are on the other side of the island that this group doesn't even know about.

I like Locke too. But it's weird how he went from the loner giving people creepy looks to now he's doling out philosophical life lessons and moth metaphors to Charlie. I'm curious to learn more about his past. One minute he seems like a stern-but-caring dad figure and the next he looks like he might go psycho on everyone

I wonder if any of the main 14 or 15 characters will get killed off before the end of the season. I hope not....I'm liking them all, even the annoying spoiled blonde and the hillbilly jerk. But producers will do anything for ratings, so who knows.

The producers stated in TVGuide or somewhere that you should be expected to lose a character or two this season. It was in a previous thread.

I cannot for the life of me think of who would've clocked Said, and if it's just some random character I won't be happy. The only person alone when it happened was Locke, skinning his boar. Aggh one more week.

Maybe a polar bear lit the 3rd bottle rocket and it was Sawyer that hit him.

Not surprising, it only lasted a couple episodes.

This is going to be very interesting.

As people already stated, it was a good episode for character build up since nothing much really happened with the exception of the cave in.

Next week episode preview looks interesting.

I wonder if he will still pop up as Kendall every now and then. As the show has progressed, the Kendall character has gotten a lot more interesting, especially after last season.

In tonight's episode, The Professor's plan to triangulate the source of the French signal is foiled when clumsy Gilligan gets trapped in a cave in.

Terry O'Quinn also had several guest shots on JAG before Millenium and the others mentioned. Have always enjoyed his appearances.

Really like the way we are getting to know these characters. I hope we get Sawyer's back story before something happens to him.

We all know you mean Augustus is falling for Sun

I did like how they showed his son admiring him as he took charge. It was a nice subtle touch.

Did anyone catch the black guy looking at the korean woman and her looking back smiling. They are probably going to have an affair later on.

Forgot to mention that there seems to be a budding attraction between Link and Sun. Did anybody else notice that?

I just posted that. I hope it leads to some hot and heavy bed scenes.

Locke was the first suspect that came to mind for clubbing Sayeed, as he loves the island, but I think that would be too lazy for the stellar writers of this show.

I am not a heroin expert, but wouldn't burning it have the same effect as burning a bag of coke or pot? Everyone in the cave would be feeling good.
