Sorry I don't know...I was thinking of stopping by their office this week to see if they may give me a free sample of their magazine. You think they might have some back issues to give away to get people interested. They had a meet and greet a week ago but I did not know about it. I would have gotten my Ghost Hunters dvd set signed....

harrydoyle 06-13-07 04:37 PM

It's funny I keep crossing paths/reading about people who crossed paths with Ghost Hunters. My time must be coming. It is a good show that is getting better I think, last week's episode was one of the best I've seen. Hopefully tonights will continue the trend.

LivingINClip 06-13-07 09:13 PM

I have to disagree, I think the show has gotten worse. Tonight's episode had moments where the two younger crew members were just acting like complete dumbass teenagers. Nothing professional about it whatsoever. It needs retooled abit.

dgmayor 06-14-07 11:43 AM

My wife and I noticed that the show has dramatically changed from trying to debunk to trying to prove..problem being, they never prove anything other than their silly "personal experiences".

I'm glad they're coming back to the states, because that Barry guy has been a freaking pansy.

LivingINClip 06-14-07 11:58 AM

That is another problem, just like lastnight they kept talking about how it just "felt weird" in one of the rooms. That proves nothing. The show truly has lost sight, it was a lot more fun when the crew tried to disprove.

Yea, every time something happened he'd run away.

harrydoyle 06-17-07 02:33 PM

I disagree with you guys. I don't think last week's episode was their finest, but there's no way to know going into an investigation what you're going to find. Just two weeks ago they recorded some really inexplicable stuff with the infrared camera. I thought the first episode of the season was one of the best I've seen.

TheMovieman 01-10-08 10:50 AM

Just started watching this series lately. Certainly will make the writers' strike go by a bit quicker (this and "The First 48" on A&E).

FinkPish 01-10-08 11:58 AM

I watched some episodes of the marathon today that I hadn't seen before and then caught the new stuff. They seem to be getting away from the annoying team conflict stuff which to me always took away from their investigations. I really didn't care if they were having a problem with a team member, I'd rather know more about what was going on in the investigation.

Yeah, I agree. Wasn't needed, but I wonder if they did that to fill time on some of their more less eventful episodes. The episodes in the maraton were chosen by the viewers so as a relative newbie, it was great to get the highlights of the shows and see some of the more interesting investigations (loved that lighthouse one).

Also watched Ghost Hunters International. OK, I guess but more of the same but without Jason and Grant, it really isn't as good but it's fine as filler until the new season of the original premieres in March.

The Infidel 01-11-08 01:04 AM

I think Ghost Hunters: International premiered within the last couple days. Maybe that's the premiere you saw.

I like the show more when they actually find some kind of proof of something. The show where they went to Ireland and filmed some weird heat signatures in that field was pretty cool. I liked the lighthouse one as well.

TheMovieman 01-11-08 12:59 PM

Yeah, it premiered on Wednesday (1/9). Wasn't bad or anything but the episode itself wasn't all that exciting since, like you, I like it when they find evidence. I mean, in that lighthouse episode seeing that footage of that figure looking down over the railing was creepy...

Ravenous 01-11-08 03:22 PM

I dig this show cause of the history background stuff and never miss it. That said I didnt like this GHI cause that little fruit Andy annoys the hell out of me and I despise him, that new lead seems like a wannabe commentator (him doing EVPs and posing in a pic with a ghost?), than that tall chick is too jumpy after all the years of doing it. I hate most of this shows cast

Yeah, I never liked Andy... at all. The rest are OK, but the leader needs to chill out, too over the top.

It was funny that the chicks thought they heard a horse-drawn carriage when in fact it was the other investigators. :p

That's the problem I have with GHI, it's a very cool idea but a very annoying cast. The new guy seems like he's trying too hard to be a hard ass and Andy will kiss whatever as is available.

TheMovieman 03-06-08 12:08 AM

Anyone watch the season premiere tonight? Pretty good one and creepy as hell. Hopefully they didn't save the best for first though... Glad they got rid of the opening credits.

Oh, and I love Kris.

I always said if a ghost was able to pull down its pants, Andy would jump to give him a blow job.

Kris is hot. But where did you get the pic? Looks like an actress headshot. Kinda odd for a 'reality' show.

TheMovieman 03-06-08 01:16 AM

Looking at her IMDb profile, she has acted in a couple things...

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1366043/

Giles 03-06-08 08:37 AM

Ghost Hunters and UFO Hunters (on History Channel) -

bigsoos 03-06-08 09:49 AM

Pretty good episode night. I wonder if the team will go back there again to catch more stuff. That guy's lazy eye was freaky! :)

Oh yeah, Kris looks hot!

Setzer 03-06-08 10:42 AM

Great episode tonight! I'm glad GHI is over with...I prefer Jay and Grant over Robb and Andy. Oh, and Kris is definitely hot! :D

bigsoos 03-06-08 10:55 AM

With GHI I felt like Robb was always willing to call a place haunted, whereas Jay and Grant are more skeptical.

Giles 04-15-08 02:17 PM

I know it's unfair to judge this season with say season one, where everyone is being introduced, the conflicts within the team (and the ever annoying, now gone, Brian Harnois), but this one is by far the most interesting and entertaining seasons.

TheMovieman 04-15-08 05:06 PM

Yeah, so far it's shaping up to be a solid season.

DarkEyes 04-15-08 09:13 PM

this season is awesome so far... i just found this thread so will be posting here allot..

Brian is on the International.

Ehh the show is okay. It seems like acting now and kinda bullshit.

Was the holloween episode ever discussed? I thought they got some new GH dude. And thank god those hideous fat bitches DO NOT come out regularly. Fucking sickening.

I'll try to avoid that show ... ;)

as for the most recent show, last week's, not tonights:

"Haunted Air Force Base"

I thought the sequence with the flashlight gave me goosebumps. The fact that several members of the team heard laughter and other noises in the house, yet weren't captured on audio, to be a little odd

Strafe 04-16-08 03:07 PM

Hmmm, I haven't completed watching the latest episode yet, but to me this show just keeps getting more and more boring. It has become a show I half watch while doing something else. Sounds like a lot of you think this season has been great so I will give this ep my full attention and see if it changes my mind at all. There's only so many sounds they hear, things they see and feelings they feel that of course we don't get to experience, that I can take.

DarkEyes 04-16-08 03:09 PM

i think sofar this season has been just as good as the other seasons... i feel sci-fi has over played the older seasons so much that its making some folks not like the show...

i made sure to not watch much of the re-runs on tv just for the fact i have seen them all......

but i like season 4 sofar

Strafe 04-17-08 07:57 AM

So the princess's EVP's were good, the rest of the ep was so so. I think my problem with the show now is that they got greedy and split the cast into two shows and really diluted it. I know how a lot of you feel about Brian but face it, he added a lot of drama to the show which is necessary when theres not much activity. That being said I enjoyed Ghost Hunters International even less. They had a chemistry that worked but now they've split the catalysts up and have 2 mediocre shows.

Giles 04-17-08 08:50 AM

which show was it that the team went to an Irish castle - I would assume that was Ghost Hunters International - since, well ... Steve doesn't fly on planes.

bigsoos 04-17-08 08:53 AM

Jay and Grant went overseas to investigate, at least once. I think they were at the Irish castle.

Strafe 04-17-08 11:37 AM

Yeah, it was Ghost Hunters. Steve got as far as the airport and I think he even got on the plane but started freaking out.

Giles 04-17-08 12:05 PM

so he didn't go I would assume... for such a gruff guy, he's fear of flying seems so odd, but hey, everyone's got fears. (love the tattoos)

It's kind of suprising he's a cat person too. On some GH special he said he had two cats named Sassy Lashes and Home Depot. I have some friends that ran into Steve and Dave Tango at a Joe's Crabshack on their way back from a shoot and said they were both really cool.

Giles 04-17-08 02:39 PM

Steve giving Dave a hard time with the red earphones was actually quite amusing.

Ghost Hunters new season on SciFi

This might have been mentioned, and I forgot to state this last week, but Ghost Hunters new season has begun on SciFi channel.

Last week's episode [Iron Island] was good, but I thought the team wasn't very truthful to the client, in how one of the evp's ("leave me alone") was attained, with Tango yelling expletives at the entity.

Tonight's episode "So She Married an Axe Murderer" - Ghost Hunters
Paranormal claims regarding Slater Mill in Pawtucket, R.I., are investigated. Also: Connecticut's Pettibone Tavern, allegedly the site of an axe murder, is probed.

JustInsane 09-09-08 02:32 PM

Tonight? I thought it was on Wednesday night.

I don't think they need to tell her what was said to get the response, it was more impressive that they actually got a voice that was responding to what was being said. That was basically direct communication.

Giles 09-10-08 10:10 AM

oops, wrong night, I'm sooo confused... :) tonight's Wednesday night... (Ack!)

Giles 03-16-09 12:59 PM

'Ghost Hunters' Fifth Season

I must admit I realy enjoy this show, but 5th Season's first episode: 'Betsy Ross House' was just boring, nothing happened... even with the controversey that plagued their last live show, you'd think Grant and/or Jason would have given an explanation for that coat tug incident... but no, guess that wasn't important to their fans or reputation.
