Rouge(to a degree)?!

Okay... back to the topic.

Did something similar already happen in Season 2? I've only seen a few episodes of season 1 and 2. Watched all of season 3 and season 4 so far.

Rebel baby! Just kidding. I just didn't want the other topic to get bogged down and become a "look how much next week is going to stuck". Focus on the positive. Fushwaba.

It's honestly been so long since I watched those seasons that I cannot remember. I think there may have been something dealing with a girl who thought she was ugly or unoticed so she became invisible.

That's a Buffy episode.

In Smallville some guy made an invisible potion from kryptonite mutated roses. Obvious, really.

This week its kryptonite plastic surgery. Sort of like the jocks with the kryptonite tatoos. You can probably draw comparisons from quite a few other freak of the week episodes though I guess.

We need to put "Kryp/Tuck" in the thread title... this cheesy subtitle for this episode (as seen in last nights "coming next week" promo) is priceless

Bump for tonight's show. This is going to be bad - they might as well bring back Pete for a few pointless moments.

Kryp/Tuck is horrible title to advertise. Derivative and cheesy.

This is a throw back to season one.

What's next a Kryptonite High Colonic?

Maybe condoms made from meteor rock particles. I can see the title now "Kondom !!!"

This episode feels like a season one ep for sure, I thought Clark already settled the football issue with his father?

Edit: Now that its over that pratically was a season one episode, Chloe falling in love with Clark again, Clark and his father having the usual father son talk about how he is becomming a man, cripes what a step back.

I think the writers just happened to find an old, unused script from season 1 buried in the ground. Such a S1 episode, with Lois taking Lana's place, and Lana taking Chloe's place. It wasn't completely horrible, particularly the ending, but the MOTW was among the worst concepts yet.

Wow, I missed the preview for next week writing this, but I see that the next episode is "Smallville: THIRST!", with apparent green kryptonite as the drink. Whatever will they come up with next...

Well, it took them about 30 seconds to demote Lois from college freshman to high school senior needing 5 credits for graduation. I would not have taken having to make up half a year of high school as well as she did.

The Krypt/Tuck FOTW wasn't all that great, but all the stuff besides the FOTW was okay:

Martha going to work at the Talon. (Guess it's getting re-opened for the start of the school year)

Lex has to wonder what Teague is all about, even if his rich family disowned him. Lex has a strange protectiveness about Lana.

Chloe and Lois get along a little too famously.

I'm waiting for someone to break some bones trying to tackle Clark in a football game. Will Clark give up the shoulder pads then?

For someone who was isolated for a summer under witness protection, Chloe has reintegrated back her normal life a little too easily. She did give off that weird look after Lois went up to Clark after she dunked him into the water.

Jonathan needs to work on his spirals.

With Eric Johnson's brief guest appearance, I thought this might as well have been a season one storyline. It wasn't bad, but nothing particuarly new, either. Of course, it was wrapped up by discovering information off the Internet and then it gets solved, just like that. I'm still not won over by Lana's new love interest. Every episode so far is the two of them getting all kissy. He must be quite obsessed with her if he's following her all around and conveniently landing a job at her school.

Like in the past, the Kryptonite-infused villain has some special ability that causes the victim to work to their advantage. They already have established how Kryptonite has 1001 uses and next week it seems like it'll be an aphrodisiac.

Poor Chloe; no matter what she does, she can't get Clark in any which way. If she wasn't losing him to Lana, now it's her cousin that is getting the action.

But Abagail was: (The mom wasn't too bad looking either.)

DID I MISS SOMTHING?

When Chloe was rescued in the last episode, wasn't Lionel's trial to begin "tomorrow"?

Where the fuck was Lionel and the trial?

Chloe's testimony sent Lionel up the river.

Yeah it was mentioned, Lex even took a few minutes to watch his father go into jail in order to savor the moment.

Wow. Welcome to 2001.

Some thoughts:

- How many times has Lana awoken in a hospital bed over the past 3+ years?

- Chloe...

- Lois strapped to a table in her scant undergarments...

- Plot... meh. Filler episode. Nothing great, nothing horrid. But after two slam-bang episodes, this seemed like a giant step... nowhere. Oh well. Bring on the Flash and Mr. Mxyzptlk.

- When, just when are we gonna get a Legion of Super-Heroes episode? This series is practically begging for it.

Best part was Lois kicking the woman and saying "Bitch" oh-so-casually.

I'd let her kick me in the face. For the split second that would occur before she knocks me out, I'd get just a hint of early morning dew.

If I am correct there's been a shower scene in every episode this season, unfortunately one of them was rather violent and filled with men, but a shower scene none the less.

What's up with the repeatitiveness?

who else was hoping that when they dunked clark his flight power would emerge and he'd stay in place as the seat fell away
would have been great since this show has jumped the shark
