Liked it, with reservations. The new cast members fit in nicely, especially enjoyed seeing DB Woodside in another show I like, and Kim in CTU wasn't as awful as it could've been. The druglord stuff reminded me of a lesser version of the Kingpin miniseries, however. Best part was the continuity with Kate, although it's sad they're on the outs.

A good opener. I dont care for Kim's "Deborah Harry" haircut though.
It's his brother...Palmer said something about "Mom always thought you were the timid one" during the episode. And for others on this thread, no it isn't unusual that Palmer would have his brother as his "right hand" (especially after the events in Season Two) - look at Jack and Bobby Kennedy.

Anyone else think:
Spoiler:
Plamer's nurse is poisoning him with those pills, and that Palmer's death may be the "big shock" that the producers have promised us in the first half of Season Three. Was Dennis Haysbert always listed last on the credits? If not, his movement there "And Dennis Haysbert" may indicate he's only going to be a special guest star for the first part of this season

[sarcasm] Yeah, Jack shooting Marshall Goren in the chest in the CTU briefing room, then asking for a hacksaw so he could saw off Goren's head just so he could re-establish his cover with some bad guys in hour 2 was really boring and lame. [/sarcasm]

I've just checked both fox.com and fxnetworks.com, and there's apparently no scheduled replay of hour 1 slated. Maybe someone locally grabbed it on their TiVo and can burn you tape? I could do that, but I can't gurarantee you'd get it before next Tuesday's ep.

Have you tried contacting the Austin Fox station directly, see if maybe =they= might rebroadcast it, like in some gawdawful slot like 4am Friday? Can't hurt to ask.

I spoke with "Programming" today (she asked that I not post her name ) and she has been receiving calls/emails starting last night. Funny thing is, she is a DirecTV customer as well (and, unless she is a good liar, does not receive waivers. She said she didn't know of anyone locally to receive them )

I was, however, the first person she actually spoke to (rest were messages) and she was about to tell the rest that "FX should be showing them". I told her that there was NO info to that effect on the FX site, and that both zap2it.com and my two weeks in the future tivo guide did not indicate any repeats would be airing.

When I mentioned airing it over a paid advertisement, she said that was a great idea, but that they just shoot out the feed directly, and therefore have no tape to air from. She said she would call FX (and possibly the regular Fox network) and ''get back with me". (left her my cell)

We'll see!

BigDaddy WHEN I get it, I'll get you a copy! Send me your phone # again!

Joe
