Re: Ncis - 09/22
I really enjoyed this episode but it just really bugged me when Gibbs showed up in that hallway about 30 seconds after he was shown up on a hill about a mile away.

But yeah, great episode overall. Very nice ending with Ziva returning back to the office and it appears that she's still pissed at Tony.
Loved how they showed what the team was up to from May to September.

A thing I noted was when they arrived at NCIS, McGee was still wearing the shirt he wore while captured, rip and all (Ziva & Tony might have been wearing the same clothes but I didn't notice). You'd think they would have changed clothes traveling form Africa to Washington.
As for Gibbs getting down there in 30 seconds, he's becoming more like Chuck Norris. He fired the 2nd shot, grabbed the bullet as it came out of the gun & flew down to the building. He let go right before it got the other guy & went around killing the other terrorists before meeting up with Tony. The other rescue team had nothing to do.

Good thing they interrogated Tony in a room with a conveniently placed window or else the whole plan would have failed. Interesting episode aside from the preposterous rescue plan.

Yeah I agree, I was trying to ignore how fast Gibbs flew down there until my wife looked at me like WTF? How'd he manage that? But aside from that very good start to the season!

Re: NCIS -- "Reunion" -- 9/29/09
how'd Gibbs get the boat out of the basement?
although I think there is one wall we've never seen that could have doors. maybe the house is on a hill and the basement opens out onto ground level

How Gibbs gets the boats out is a long-running joke on the show. Nobody can figure it out and Gibbs won't say.

He is Gibbs.
The boat was out of his basement in last season's finale. I'm still trying to figure that one out.
Gibbs is also capable of traveling over a mile in less than two minutes in a full ghillie suit and can shoot accurately at close range with a sniper rifle.
-
And again, this awesome epsiode knocks the wind out of its "brother" show NCIS: LA.
I liked the way Vance told Ziva that her father and Mossad essentially abandoned her when she was captured in Somalia. Informing her that it was NCIS that rescued her even though she is not an NCIS agent.
Good to see the team back together proper.

Awesome episode.
Anyone else miss the in-episode music they played earlier on in the series? The music that's a slower/more solemn take on the opening theme music? You see it every now and then but it was used more prominently early on in the series. I liked it.
Me like Pauley Perrette in the picture up above.

Thought this was a really good episode.
I liked how they gradually worked Ziva back into the team.
The final scene with her and Gibbs in his basement was really well done and very emotional. I thought that it was very nice when Ziva mentioned that she thought of Gibbs as a father.
Tony and McGeek are always great out in the field.

Still our top must see show every week. We have really grown to love and care for these characters. Nice to see Palmer again. Don't remember seeing him last week.

For some reason I just don't like the Ziva character. Ever since the beginning. I wish they would replace her. I don't trust her character either. She may be a spy. Gibbs was right not to trust her, he is and still skeptical of her. He told his boss they need her, but Gibbs has his reason for wanting her close. As they say, keep your enemies close.

Re: NCIS -- "The Inside Man" -- 10/06/09
Alright did anyone watch this?
So Ziva is resigning from Moussad and applying to be a full NCIS agent. I thought it was interesting that Gibbs was hesitating for some reason to signing off on it even though they had that heart to heart talk in last week's episode. I guess next week will explain his reluctance.
The case itself was pretty standard, but McGee and Tony's antics were comedy as usual.
I wonder how much they are going to build on the Polygraph chick's attraction to McGee. I found her strange looking, especially her eyes.
I did like the Hot Metro Cop.

But that doesn't explain Gibbs hesitancy to sign off on her becoming a full NCIS agent.
