Wow, this thread brings back so many memories of GREAT shows I enjoyed watching.
I'd echo a lot of them:
Thieves
American Gothic
Freaks and Geeks
Greg the Bunny
Strange Luck
Profit
Undeclared
And add a few others I didn't see mentioned:
The Norm Show
Push, Nevada
Jack of All Trades
Off Centre

Two of my all-time favorites were on Fox: Brisco County Jr. and Bakersfield P.D. (Damn, I thought I was going to be the first who posted that)
Now an oldie but a goodie: Night Stalker!!!! It was on for about 4 or 5 episodes back in the 70’s and used to scare the crap out of me.

The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd (1987 to 1991)
A bittersweet comedy, it had five seasons but only 65 episodes. I'm not sure that even all of these aired in the UK.
I certainly recall liking it at the time!

Days and Night of Molly Dodd ruled. David Straithairn, John Glover (as her cousin who she couldn't ever remember), and Davey The Doorman. And the fabulous Blair Brown.

My favorite:
It's Like You Know
Opposite Sex (this FOX show from a couple summers ago that had Milo Ventimiglia from Gilmore Girls and Allison Mack from Smallville.)
Good vs. Evil was great.
Freaks and Geeks
Undeclared

I guess Ronnie Dobbs has nothing better to due on a Tuesday night than bump up old threads.
What the heck even made you think about these threads in the 1st place?

Re: Best Short-Lived Shows
The sad thing is, if he just posted this on his own, some here would throw him to the wolves referring to our forums' ever-so-fabulous search function and his inability to use it, then eventually cite this thread as the place for his comment, though it doesn't make a great deal of sense to do this.
Sometimes you can't win around here.

A topic like this is so disposable and generic that I think it's fine for someone to create a new thread, especially after 6 years.

Sledge Hammer
Danger Theatre (Fox Network) They had a couple of shows called Tropical Punch and The Searcher. The Searcher was the best one in the series.

Dead Like Me
Firefly
Harsh Realm
Arrested Development (3 seasons makes it "iffy" for this list)
And I actually liked Over There (bought it as a blind buy)
