Well , you might find this an interesting read then. It's the Smoking Gun's Document of the day, so this link might not work after today (2/7/03). This is the original complaint filed the kid who claimed Jackson molested him back in 93. One of the things that struck me was how he (Jackson) would cry and claim the boy didn't love him whenever the boy resisted his advances. It just seems to fit his personality, at least the little that I have seen from Jackson.

This show certainly tries hard to make Jackson look as bad as possible.

Glad to see other people noticed this. I usually try to take shows like these with a grain of salt as it was rather obvious it was going to make no attempt to cast Michael Jackson in a positive light whatsoever.

However, I believe it was accurate in showing us how psychologically disturbed Jackson is. This guy has created his own world where he believes he is the only sane person. Seeing his home and how he collects things by glancing at them briefly and saying, "Can you get that one?" without even looking at the price tag - I swear I was watching a modern day version of Citizen Kane.

I'm kind of puzzled how, if everyone I ever come into contact with is creeped out by him, he still has adoring fans appearing wherever he goes. You would have thought the one crying lady who collapsed to the pavement after hugging him had just hugged Jesus Christ!

My theory as to why we still are obsessed with Michael is because we all still love the memory of that Michael Jackson from "Thriller" that reminds us of a time when we were adoring kids with our mouths wide open watching his videos. I think, deep down, we all want our "Thriller" Michael back, and would rise up with enthusiastic cheers if that version of him ever returned without the apparent "weirdness." But its obvious to me with each new interview we see of Michael, he is becoming more and more detached from reality - and that his self-destructive life which I wouldn't want to experience for a minute is going to end in tragedy.

The impression I've been getting in general lately is that the term responsible parent is more of an oxymoron. Or it could be some parent just waiting to cash in after alledging abuse.

That kids story seems perfectly believeable to me. Much moreso than any of Micheals 'innocent' reasons for sleeping with children.

i only caught the last half, but the one thing that was going through my head, (besides what a mental case he is) is that of pity. i wonder how much of what is wrong in his head was caused from his childhood experiences?

You mean the part about his father railing on his looks all the time ("You didn't get that wide flat nose from my side of the family!" and the "Eww...you got some serious zit issues" - paraphrased from a fan at an airport). Get over it.

I feel sorry for that guy some reason. Not that he does anything to improve the situation, but to some extent it's not all his fault. I do blame his parents for beating him etc.. however, there are lots of abused people who grow up fine. He just should keep out of the spotlight, and grow old in that ranch... but he must have the attention and to get it, he has to be the crazy guy we know today.

I bet that guy is dead within 5 years, I just don't see him being able to face not being successful again.

did no one catch the discussion on "blanket's" mom? in the begging he said she was being protected b/c of the media and that she and jackson had a relationship but later on when the interviewer mentions the kid's "origins" jackson says he was from invito fertilization????

i also want to know whats up with those nasty fingernails? it looks like he has fungus big time!

this man is a sad, sad, sad being. he just has no clue what reality he is living in. and i'll say it again, those kids will be in major therapy later on. poor things!

BTW, if you invite children over to your playground (especially underpriviledge children) and lavish such pleasure and enjoyment on them then of course, they will love you and admire you!

There's a lady at work who's black, and she has a picture of her kids (and one works there too) and 2 of them have white skin and blond hair, including the one that works at the same place
I haven't asked to make sure, because it's none of my business and would be rude, but I'm 99% sure they're her biological kids

If Michael is really black, then the kids should at least look black.

Those kids are white. The oldest boy has the blondest hair I have ever seen.

And nicknaming his kid Blanket. Weird.

This thing used to be an artist. What the hell happened?

i wish the interviewer had asked him why he wanted kids, was it because he wanted to be a "parent" or was it because he "wanted kids". to me, there is a BIG difference and i really dont see that he's being a parent, he just has kids!

also, someone mentioned above that debbie roe was interviewed and supported him....where was this interview??? she doesnt sound too sane either! (either money speaks or it's just amazing how these 2 freaks found one another!)

King Of Pop's Ex-Wife Defends Pop Star

Rowe: Michael Is 'Wonderful, Loving, Caring'

UPDATED: 8:04 a.m. PST February 7, 2003

LOS ANGELES -- The ex-wife of entertainer Michael Jackson is defending her former husband in the wake of a controversial British documentary about his life.

In an interview, Debbie Rowe, the mother of two of Jackson's children, said Jackson "is a wonderful, loving, caring man" who's "not portrayed as he really is."

Rowe goes on to say "I believe that there are people who should be parents and he's one of them."

During the program, aired Thursday night, Jackson spoke on a number of topics. He spoke about abuse he says he suffered at the hands of his father and how he would never hurt his own kids.

Meanwhile, Jackson filed formal complaints with two TV watchdog groups, alleging the documentary insinuates that Jackson is guilty of inappropriate behavior with children.

In 1993, Jackson reached a financial settlement with a boy who accused Jackson of molesting him.

Was this a "news piece"? Or was it an editorial? It seems this reporter guy sure presented a slanted view interlaced with his own feelings and personal comments. Was there 8 months of video edited to 2 hours? Was the video and interviews edited to show Jackson in the worst possible light? This reporter that no one has ever heard of is now famous worldwide, and I'm sure we will see him with his own talk show on FOX very soon.

With those questions in mind after I watched this, I still came away with the feeling Jackson is deeply disturbed. Pretty obvious he's doing the things to his face to either get back at his Father OR to subconsciously try to show his Father he can look like the person his Father wants him to. With all his fame and fortune, Jackson comes off as a very insecure and troubled person. Granted his children have the threat of being kidnapped, but making them wear masks? What is that doing to THEIR personality? If Jackson is going to take his kids to the Zoo, prudence would dictate calling the Zoo in advance so it can be closed. If for nothing else the safety of his children. That was crazy. Is there anyone in Jacksons camp who gives him advice?

Calling his home "Neverland" seems very appropriate.

I guess it's tough to find but I have this book and it is pretty damn disgusting: Michael Jackson Was My Lover

You can probably guess what it's about.

Here's a review: link His analysis of the literary value of the book is pretty much right.

"Banket's" mom, the surrogate, is black. I'm not sure we can tell what color the baby's hair is yet.

As far as the 2 older kids, their mom was white and blonde

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Fast National ratings for Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003

If only ABC could air a documentary about Michael Jackson every week.

The network, which has struggled on Thursday nights all season, shot to the top last night with its "20/20" special about the singer, averaging a 16.2 rating/25 share for the night. NBC, 12.5/18, finished second ahead of CBS, 11.2/17. FOX, 2.9/4, was a distant fourth. In the metered markets, UPN averaged 4.1/6 and The WB 1.8/3.

ABC also led among adults 18-49 with a 10.6 rating. NBC averaged 9.3, CBS 6.1 and FOX 1.7.

The "20/20" special, featuring a British documentary called "Living with Michael Jackson," averaged a 15.2/22 at 8 p.m. NBC took second with two episodes of "Friends," 14.5/22 and 13.7/20. CBS' "Star Search" finals came in third at 8.4/12. "WWE Smackdown!" (4.1/6 average from 8 to 10 p.m.) was fourth, followed by repeats of "Joe Millionaire" on FOX and "High School Reunion" on The WB.

ABC increased its audience at 9 p.m., averaging 18.1/26 and beating out the usual No. 1 show for the hour, CBS' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." It finished with a 15.5/22. NBC dropped to third with back-to-back showings of "Will & Grace," 10.8/15 and 8.5/12. UPN stayed in fourth with wrestling. FOX's newsmagazine "The Pulse" scored a 2.5/4 to beat out "The Surreal Life" and "JKX: The Jamie Kennedy Experiment" for fifth.

At 10 p.m., ABC held on to first place with "Primetime Thursday," 15.4/24. "ER," 13.8/21, was second for NBC, while "Without a Trace" scored a 9.7/15 for CBS.

I'll have to watch it tonight.

just my 2 cents...

I don't think that Michael Jackson is a child molestor by any means. I think that if he had, he would have been sued many more times, but the families of these kids simply because of the number of kids that he has had at his house.

I think that Michael Jackson's life will end up coming to a sad end. He seemed very very depressed, and I think that of all the good that he has done for children, they have probably saved his life also.

I thought that the journalism done by ABC was horrible. That wasn't a documentary, but more of an editorial opinion piece that was designed from the getgo to make him look like a crazy pervert who has fallen on hard times. Most good documentaries at least start unbiased. This was merely catering to the public who wants to see a story about a crazy pervert freak show, regardless of the truth of the situation.
the best evidence of the true intent of the story was when Barbara Walters had to dispute claims of his net worth... like it really matters that much that he "only" has a few hundred million left.

I think he is obviously lying about the plastic surgery, but I don't think that he bleached his skin.

People are fickle and they like to love and then hate celebrities. This "documentary" was a great example of this.

Click the quote button on the upper right corner.

Anyway that seems a little more far fetched then the freakshow I saw last night being a molester. Im not one to buy into elaborate conspiracy theories. I think OJ did it too.

Anyone else think his doctors prescribe him some good drugs? He was obviously over-medicated on something.

Seriously, the man has no concept of reality. None. He needs to be institutionalized.
