Hopefully they can change it up without making it "just another spy show." Sure, Sydney's no longer a double agent, but who knows what they have up their sleeves. They've flipped the show on its ear now, and hopefully they have a solid plan. It would suck if the shows gets stupid now.

Anyway, for new viewers, they got all the Alias traits in one ep:

1) Sydney wears multiple hot outfits
2) Someone get tortured
3) Sydney runs down a hallway in slow motion
4) Sydney cries ... and cries ... and cries ...
5) Will acts like a goon

I think I heard sometime this year, but I have NO confirmation of that, however she IS is lingerie fairly often. The problem with trying to catch repeats is that season 1 was heavily interwoven from episode to episode, so catching a marathon of 3 or 4 episodes won't do you much good; You really need the whole season.

However, I wouldn't give up on it just because you haven't seen season 1. They turned absolutely everything upside down this week and basically are starting over, so you may not have missed as much as you think.

Wonder how they'll bring Marshall and Dixon back into the fold. Dixon might be in witness protection (though his last call to his wife was very troubling for him).

Oh, absolutely. No matter how long they try to establish her as "good," at some point we'll find she's the mastermind of everything.

Between K-Directorate and Irina and Sloane and Sark, I'm sure they have a whole host of great stuff planned for us.

I doubt Dixon's going anywhere ... if he wasn't going to be a main character anymore, they'd give him a good killing for effect.

Outfits, YES!!!

This is what makes Jack and Sydney so sympathetic has the central characters in this spy drama, they are going to get hit from all sort of angles as these phases come and go. The emotional highs and lows of their battle will be awfully painful.

"Ghghggghghghghhh," when Sydney and Vaughn cross the office and make-out amongst the dead bodies of Sydney's former coworkers.

"Oh... my... God..." when the blood-pan revealed a DEAD FRANCIE! We hardly knew ye! I wonder how good SD agents are at running restaurants? I thought the dead person was Will at first, too... I was like, "Oh, how lame... Francie's been an agent all along? Whatev... Oh.. my... God..."

And a note to any Alias muckey-mucks reading: please do not write Dixon and Marshall out of the show. Thank you.

She didn't just turn herself in for no reason. By the end of the season, she'll no doubt reveal her secret. Get a box of tissues, Syd, you'll need it.

And part of me is a little bummed/unbelieving that after two seasons, the entire freakin' Alliance was brought down by an e-mail. I know, I know, the e-mail contained the password to some super-secret computer that blah blah blah. Whatever.

Actually, I was hoping that would pop-up on Dixon's computer when calling his wife. That would have at least soften the tension. Poor Dixon...he was just as shocked as we were.

What's sort of sad is that Gina Torres went off to do Firefly, now is jobless, and has to probably see her character Anna turn into Francie, so she ain't got no work coming on Alias either.
