I'll repeat the "Wow" comments....errr, Wow.
I guess if you are trying to get new viewers into a show that has long term arcs continuing for two seasons, you might as well destroy the whole environment and start from nearly scratch.
I'm not exactly how I feel about the future of the show, but if they can pull this kind of stuff off ever so often, it will continue to be good.

I am going to say, WOW what a great episode. J.J. what are you going to us. I hope the rest of this season can match this episode, and I hope all the Super Bowl crowd was watching, because this was one heck of an hour of network tv.

So.. have you guys seen the ending to this show? Because of all the Bay Area news about tear gas and shyite... I'm only like 20 minutes into it. Some old guy is being tied up to a chair with leather straps (by another guy).
Shouldn't the chick have something to do w/ the leather scenes?
Now he's getting shocked.

HOLY CRAP!!
What a great episode. ABC really dropped the ball by not airing this ep right after the game.
Poor Francie. What a swreve at the end.
I had a feeling Sark and Sloane were up to something, not of this scale though.
I can't wait to see how they resolve the Dixon situation.
I wish I would have recorded this.

What TV should be
Im still doing a happy dance about this episode so please bear with me, but YES. Thats what Im talking about.
"Whats was wrong with the black one?" NOT A DAMN THANG MS. GARNER, and to top it off you had a riding crop. You go girl.
I was worried not a week ago about the dumbing down of this show, but if they keep this up I might not be watching anything else.
Poor Francie, she finds "jungle fever", cafe turns a profit, and she winds up dead in the meat locker. Not a good thing.
That was an awesome episode from top to bottom, bring on more like it. Excuse me I must continue my happy dance.

I enjoyed it, but I certainly don't think it's the best episode of the show. Sure, a lot happened, but they've done some really stellar episodes, particularly 'Truth Be Told', 'Almost 30 Years', and the Marshall/Ariana trilogy, and I hate to use the phrase, but this was a bit "dumbed down" for the masses. Loved it ... just not ready to proclaim it the best we've seen.

WOW! What a great episode! Man, this was great TV! My guess is that ABC told JJ that they loved the show, but it was just too confusing for the newbies. So, JJ ended all the SD-6 double-agent stuff and just has a general good-guy/bad-guy scenario now. But what a scenario it is!

To echo the sentiments, WOW. This brings the show into a WHOLE new direction. I'm really interested to see how they do this because a major plot element has been Sydney's not being found out and her pulling double duty on missions. Obviously (although given this show, maybe not so obviously), she's all CIA now, as I doubt she's gonna be working for Sloane much anymore. I also wanna know what's gonna happen with Dixon and Marshall. They are both great, and I'll be really pissed if they are both written out of the show.

• Quoth tonytapez •
after i saw francie talkin on the phone and then they panned to the blood on the wall i was totally expecting to see Will dead on the floor. man was i way off.

I thought the same thing. I was so pumped that Will was dead (because I like when major characters are killed ... shows guts), but given half a second to think about it, that would make no sense anyway. Infiltrating Francie, however ... that's just brilliant.

Not only were there no titles, the credits were misleading. Where was Lena?

das, what would really be great is if abc ran an Alias marathon on abc family. i missed the boat here and have little free time for new shows to watch. but i've wanted to add Alias to my list of must-see shows and i just feel like it's too late to fully appreciate the show. i was late with buffy too and then fx gave me the greatest tv present that i ever received. i'm gonna watch tonight to see what it's like, but it would be awesome since they have so many channels would be to let new viewers get to see the show from the beginning. i'm pretty sure i'd be much more willing to give it a shot if i knew i might get to see all the old episodes sometime soon or even over the summer. not just the past season's reruns, but the whole show. i don't watch 24 and this is the only show that i really feel like i'm missing something and want a second chance at.
