I didn't read any of the above post so as not even to get a hint of whatever spoilers may or may not be given above, but I just gotta say:
I'M PSYCHED!! The best show to come along in a LONG TIME!! Kinda how I felt when the XFiles first started! Damn I wish it didn't have to end!

Here are my predictions for this episode that I made in the thread for the previous episode. I won't be back into this thread until after the show airs on the West coast.
- I'd be shocked if Mrs. Palmer doesn't die.
- There will be a scene where someone will tell Jack that Nina is bad and that he will have to choose whether or not to believe him. There will be a long overdramatic pause while he thinks about it.
- Tony will be involved in the final climax and possibly get wounded.
- Nina is probably going to have an overly dramatic death, possibly either at the hands of Terri, or Jack will accidentally shoot her when trying to just bring her in without being harmed.
- The last line will be something cheesy along the lines of "I'm going home. Its been a really long day." Followed by a shot of Jack, Terri, and Kim walking away from the camera.

I will add my predictions and then I plan to steer clear of this thread until I've watched the episode, which I hope is tonight (rather than Friday as usual).
I think that Nina will live and CTU will win her allegiance by not sending her to prison for life. She'll go on some covert operations before she turns back to her bad ways.
Palmer will drop the old ball and chain and take the risk of damaging his happy home life in the public life....He has to clean his house of trash!
Teri and Jack will reunite in the end, with Kim and Rick (much to Jack's opposition)
Drazen will live only to see his last remaining heir bite the dust in a standoff with Jack.
Tony will be promoted to second in command
.
Drazen will escape and Jack will begin his next assignment on the trail of Drazen. He'll make short work of this assignment and another 24 (actually 23 hours since he'll spend the first hour of next season capturing Drazen) will be born.

Wow... is she really dead? Or is this one of those cliffhanger things that we'll find out next year?
Other than that, wow was I surprised when Jack gunned down Drazen.. so much for the cliche stretch out the villian chase until the final minute..
Hope they can pull this off again next year without the "I can't believe the same thing is happening to me again" syndrome

GREAT eppisode...
it was edge of the seat till the v e r y l a s t m i n u t e
God it was good...
What is the next season supposed to be like?
Just a regular (condensed time) show about CTU?

Great episode, the series on a whole was very good, and the conclusion was great. Glad they didn't make it as predictable as I thought. With everything that happened with the Drazens in the first 20-25 minutes or so, I knew they were leading to a major ending. Look forward to next season.

My only real complaint is with Palmer. You'd think he'd be smart enough at this point to realize his wife just "might" leak the news to the press? Duh? If he's that naive, then he doesn't deserve to be President.
And Nina can return for Season 2. Yeah !!!

Now THERE'S a finale. I'm so glad they had the stones to do what they did. And, hey, they even kept my twisty-cliche theory in play ... "click, click" outta bullets ... not gonna shoot ya ... (twist) ... blow him the mo'fo away.

The showdown with Drazen seemed kinda abrupt, but with the amount of stuff they had to cram in this hour, I can't say I'm that surprised. Kinda disappointing there. Also, not the conclusion I expected to see which is always nice. Short, but great
Can't believe Palmer's wife lived
Had to love Nina's evil look at the survalence camera
When Jack put down his gun and Nina was captured, I suddenly half expected Tony to be revealed as ANOTHER mole, take a shot at Jack and drive off with her.
Terri should have died about 10 hours ago, but it was a good ending. Glad they didn't choose an ending with everyone happily riding off into the sunset. That obviously had to be one of the 3 endings they shot. Wonder what the third was..
The chances of season two approaching this are pretty slim, but I'll give it a shot. There are certainly plenty of loose ends that can be indirectly addressed in addition to the whole who does Nina work for thing. Perhaps Milo shall come back with a vengence
Anyone want to make a wager that Palmer has won the election and is president in season two??
Great episode!
