funny thing is coral and nicole can only really trust in the black thing and all the black folk need to stay together, but wait what's that? Oh all the girls need to stick together. Come on get with the programme.
It's not okay for Malik to talk to Kevin, but it is okay for the girls to take behind the boys back, the race thing does not seem to matter there.
I would love to be a fly on the wall with those 2 watching themselves on TV...
Did anyone else catch the IM names Lori was using to chat with Coral?
I tried pausing a few times, and think I made out the Lori one.
As for the hotness factor, nicole is only hot when she pours on the warpaint, and Coral just has a rack.

I thought it was telling that Coral admitted to driving to work, driving past work, and going home when she didn't feel like going into work. She's a slacker, but too "proud" or stupid to recognize that she's really a hypocrit.

Over on the official site there is a Corals Diary section which basically has her talking about things in past episodes.
Here is the link...
http://www.mtv.com/onair/realworld/s...gtocoral.jhtml
this is Nicoles take on the malik White girl thing from Ep 7.
Interesting bit at the end.
"I hope people realize that there [are] two sides to every story, and in 30 minutes it’s hard to show both sides. In this episode I thought a lot was left unexplained and I appreciate the chance to clear some of that up. First off, me and Malik had several arguments before the one that you saw, there were other things that happened between us that never made it to air. Our relationship was tense before that argument we had. Secondly, I am not racist. I said it in the episode, 'I don’t care if white guys date black girls. Do what makes you happy.' But I have a problem when I think people's actions don’t follow their words. I know everyone doesn't think it’s a big deal, but I had a problem with it. That’s what our discussion was about, not about dating white girls. Our argument was about talking behind my back, and other issues that weren’t aired. Even though I still stand strong on the things that I said, I said in the episode that I am sorry for the way I talked to Kevin. I said it a million times in interviews, I was ashamed of the way I acted. Also, realize [that] stuff is edited, a lot. When they showed me looking like a hypocrite talking to Rachel and Coral, they accidentally forgot to show me telling them that since Malik told Kevin, I was going to tell them. I hope you guys remember a lot wasn’t shown. Looking back, a lot of it is petty, and I hate watching it. But you have to learn to live with regrets."

Nicole wears WAY too much make-up. Every episode, I am hoping the cameras catch her au naturel, but no. She must sleep in that crap!
The first time I saw Nicole on the casting special, I actually thought she was a drag queen!
She wears so much make-up she looks like she is a man trying to cover up her face or something.
The sad thing is, she might very pretty without all that stuff.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, I noticed Coral is always looking very bummy and stripped down a lot of the time. She is very pretty when she makes herself up a little (she doesn't wear too much gunk) but often-times she looks like she has just rolled out of bed.

Now I know some people out there think I am a heinous bitch and very mean to Mikey, but remember, everything you see has been edited
At least attempt some type of self-monitoring when cameras are in your face.

Coral's comment on the tribal paint
"The only time I saw her without her make-up is when she let me in the bathroom while she was getting ready. She never came out of that bathroom without a full face of make-up on, and it was perfect every time. I don't know how she did it."

From episode 5's comments. Edited or not, Coral ragging on Mike 24/7, her rude-ass way of answering the phone, talking down to housemates, isolating herself away from people other than Nicole, trying to make Mike and Rachel feel stupid, or guilty, lying to Arista about "I was coming into work when I got this page...", etc, etc, etc, etc.

That was the same lame excuse the Black Chick from RW Los Angeles used to explain away her bitchy attitude. When they had the RW reunion the Other Black girl from RW New York called her on it and made her look stupid on the show.

Didn't she say early on that she was made to feel UGLY when she was younger? So I can understand her obsession with looking a certain way. She needs some therapy to deal with her childhood.

I have never been so angry that I wanted to shoot my t.v. The bottom line is she is mad cause Malik doesn't want her. I HATE black women like this with a passion they walk around with all this past baggage bullshyt and try to tell other people how to be Black. And being black is "sticking to your own" and being closed minded to everything else around you
I think Malik is sure and comfortable enough with his "Blackness" that he doesn't have to point it out as a reason to why he lives the way he lives He knows who he is. Coral and Nichole however, every issue have to point out they are black and that's so weak it is the primary reason why we (Blacks) will never get anywhere to busy pointing out the obvious

Tsohg,
Thanks for saying this as a European I see this the whole time in the USA, however in Europe there not the great divide btw whites and blacks. They go to school, hang out, and generally don't have the big chip on the shoulder that most African - Americans do. I think that phrase in itself is the explanation right there, why would you not consider yourself just a plain old american, I can't imagine Coral or Nicole tracing back their roots to Kenya or the Sudan.
Regarless of race, if you are always moaning about how the man is holding you back, the man will more than happily hold you back.
Just get up and do something and for fecks sake Be Happy!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blacks like these two chicks are like crabs in a bucket...everytime one crab tries to crawl out...they drag it back into the bucket.
On RW Boston Kameelah liked Syrus but when she saw he dated White girls she lost all respect for him.

But see, if you keep on using that as an excuse NO ONE needs to lift a finger to keep you down.

Some sistahs only worry about a guys looks, his money or lack thereof, and what he can do for THEM.
Then when he says screw this and hooks up with another race they go balistic. I had this happen to me when I married my Japanese wife. All the same girls who were friends but wouldn't hook up with me all of a sudden became interested and started putting me down because I went "OUTSIDE" .
All those same chicks STILL DON'T have men 6 years later

I didn't really like Adam (from Road Rules), but the way he was handling Coral was just hilarious. Coral did not know what to do with Adam, and it exposes her vulnerabilities (I wonder if Mike will be more aggressive with Coral - though I do think Mike lacks certain mental capacities to give back what Coral dishes out to him).
Poor Rachel, she's just a baby (meaning immature) and to be thrown in with those wolves (Nicole and Coral) is just not really appealing TV. I'm just waiting for the next time when poor little Rachel gets ganged up on again and goes crying to the 4th girl (whose name escapes me at the moment) in the house.
Currently, I think this season's Real World is pretty f-in' tame/lame.

I must be missing something but it seems liek they always show Rachel talking/complaining about being picked on by Nicole/Coral but they never really show it. I'd like to see what exactly they do to her. I also thought that plane trip was poorly edited, as it showed Coral snapping at Rachel for saying something to her but didn't show what it was that Coral was reacting to.
I'm not sticking up for Nicole & Coral because I think they are a couple of lazy bitches, but I think it's interesting how MTV is really editing this show to focus on everything they are doing wrong, and it seems obvious they are not telling the entire story (whatever that might be).
And didn't this last episode seem rather abrupt? All of a sudden they are in Morrocco and I don't recall them ever showing them learning they were going or anything. I realize there was not an episode last week, but it just seemed really strange like we had missed an episode or something.

I think Rachel's main problem is with the double-teaming (power of two) with their combined insensitivity (Coral always plays it off as her way of joking, but she's just a mean woman).
When Coral displays her ugliness, Nicole condones Coral's actions/speech, and that makes Rachel feel that they gang up on her. Rachel needs a backbone, and thicker skin, and just call Coral on her own deficiencies. Plus Nicole is into looking for acceptance through black-colored lenses (in the way that she'd rather be with her "own kind" though she's really both due to her parentage), and doesn't see the negative effects of Coral's needling of Rachel. If Rachel were a black girl, I think Coral and Nicole would treat her a lot differently.

Caught the Real World for the first time in about a month. Some old crap except Coral and Nicole seem to be acting more civil.
One interesting thing to note, MTV chose to run the rest of the episodes of RW unedited and so there are several shots of WTC etc...kind of sad in a way...
