ok i like it. in fact i guess i'm hooked - i thought it was gonna be retarded but now i'm totally feelin it. three out of the four chicks have got it goin on and just seeing the highlights of what's to come, is enough to make me keep watching.

Well i actaully enjoyed the show myself . The only thing i think im gonna hate about this years cast is everything is gonna be balck and white . Black people this and white people that , and i dont know about some of you but im sick and tired of hearing about black and white . But i think they got a good cast except for Ms. PMS Coral she seems like a downright mouthy bitch to me .

Although Corral is a bitch, damn she has some huge tahtahs. But Lori is the cutiest I think. At the end of the show where they go " This season on Real World" It looks like there will be alot of drama between alot of people. Seems like a good season, I can't wait.

I'll agree that it looks like a great season. I think they did a great job of picking the seven strangers. The guys seem to be really cool. Nice enough, but dangerous enough to get in trouble; all of them.

Mikal seems to be the most laid back, but when they said he went to UC-Berkeley something told me that he is probably holding back a little. Berkeley students tend to be very intuitive but very vocal when the time comes that they have something that needs to be said. We'll see if anything happens later in the season, I could be wrong, but I think he'll be really cool.

Rachel is by far my favorite girl on the show. She seems to be really sweet and of course innocent. I think she'll be a fun cast member who gets to grow a lot for the 9 months in the house.

Now the house, wow. That is a pretty tight pad for NY. The place is pretty large, although I think camera angles are making it look a little bigger than it is. Regardless, it's a very cool place to be living.

I missed the first maybe 20 minutes, but I did like what I saw. Only problem is what jeff462v said, it seems like there's going to be a lot of race issues. Anyway, the cast seems great. All of them seem like cool people, except for maybe Nicole. She needs to lay back on the makeup! Coral seems a bit like a bitch, but for some reason, I think she's not.

hate the race card too - anyone notice though that it was malik and coral who actually brought up the topic first by saying that african americans were undereducated and needed better funded schools etc etc.,

Dear God, I thought it was horrible. The casting people stacked the deck too much...

First, they lined up two pairs of people already attracted to each other- the pretty, dramaqueen girl and super-Aryan, "I Beat Cancer", perfect, blond guy, and ghetto girl and Afro Boy. Then they had to go a step further and put reactionary Coral (funny how shes named after something pretty and abrasive) in the same house with the dumbass hick. Then, of course you have the innocnet alternative chick, who is sort of the nuetral territory, every cast has, the fresh figure.

I think they just are trying too hard to play personalities off each other. No matter who you put in a house together, there will be conflict, so it peeves me when they manipulate things so much. They might ass well just put a Neo Nazi, a Black Panther, a porno star, a Pentacostal, a Republican butcher, a PETA person, and two blessedely handsome people already attracted to each other in the same house.

As far as what happened on the show- the poor hick got a bad rap. Only thing worse than his naive comment was his damnation. Talk about closed minds, they keep saying "he doesnt know any better" and needs exposure, but the first reaction is too totally cut him off and bad mouth him behind everyones back.

I think that the casting special really was a good way to get to know the cast members that made it to RW/RR 10. Coral is definately trouble...i was hoping that they would put Coral and Ellen in the house together. Man did they get into some confrontations on the casting special Someone is going to have to put her in her place with that attitude. I also didn't think that I would really get into this season like the last two, but after the first ep it should be good as long as they don't play the race card each ep, need other things to talk about. Stay Tuned

The biggest topic of the episode seemed to be when Mike said the comments about black people. He is from Parma, Ohio (a Cleveland suburb, and my birthplace ) He was just referring to the fact that the Cleveland city school system is among the worst, if not THE worst, school system in the nation. It's just a sad coincidence that most of the students are black. However, he worded it the entirely wrong way, which is what he got scorned for.

I think this season is all about lame-o racist conflicts. BORING!
