Hick Boy should have asked Coral if she knew anything about his Dutch, German, whatever it may be, ancestory and seen if she could answer any questions. Bet she couldnt. I cant take it anymore, this Real World is just far too lame. Thick-headed, undereducated hick, meets close-minded, tempermental bitch every week will drive me insane.

I love the Real World and have watched it since the very first season.

But everytime that hick opens his mouth, I cringe.

I missed the whole blowup over what he said in the coffee shop or whatever, because as soon as I heard him say that the blacks that worked for his dad (or uncle or whatever) were lazy, I immediately turned the channel. I just couldn't bear to watch.

btw, i got a question for coral, when's Asian Pacific American Heritage Month? if she knows black history month why wouldn't she know this? you can't expect everyone to know when all of these appreciation months are.

Hick Boy may be naive, but Coral is worse because she is intolerant-she’s flexing the same prejudice against Mike that whites used against blacks, using his naiveté and background to label him as inferior and beneath her.

But didn't Mike say that he was taught Black History Month, but chose to ignore it? He's not naive; he's got prejudices and now it seems that because he's under the microscope suddenly he wants to grow and love all races. Bull. It's all very phony and I'm sure that Coral can see right through it.

I too felt well happy with what Malik's friend said to Coral, I feel like she is the biggest part of the problem, I mean just talk to the guy, she should know better, and Mike would never improve his knowledge without education.

Slamming someone is going to make him think why would I want to be like this person, it is like she is bitter and it is me against the world.

I am not too pushed on seeing the race thing come up over and over again, it's a bit overdone now. And I might get shot for saying this so lookout but I don't seem to remember the African English, or whatever the PC term is for UK Black folks, having any big racial hang-ups.

People all over need to be tolerant of each other, and just move on, and get over it. It is not worth the grief. I think he said they taught about Malcom X and such but he didnt pay attention, which Hell, its high school, everyone does that. No doubt the guy is trying too hard, however I think thats just because he is hurt by the reaction he has gotten. I dont doubt his sincerity, I think that his shunning just exaggerates his desire to learn and the show may be making it look weird (that whole getting into Bob Marley thing was laughable).

I think he exaggerates his desire to learn because he can't fathom why in the world Corral is getting so upset. From what we've been shown, I can't either. Sometimes the words out of her mouth are hypocritical of something she said earlier that day. It's very odd. It seems that she has it in for him now and there's probably nothing he can do to stop it.

If I were him I'd just let the chips fall where they may. I'd hang out with Malik and try to learn more about him. I'd quit trying to impress Corral. I would just completely leave her alone and let her do her own thing. If she approached me anymore about how ignorant I am then I'd kindly let her know that I'm not the one going around calling someone else ignorant. And that possibly this is just an example of kettle calling pot black.

I know ya'll missed it but the girl Coral is a HOT with a HUGE RACK. She does, however have some serious issues in terms of race relations.

And the Other Black girl who wouldn't date the guy because he voted for Bush has a great body and gorgeous face(even with the excessive makeup)

I fear that Lori will be pulling out what thinning hair she has left in her pining away for Kevin.

It looks like Tuesday should be pretty decent. I'm starting to feel less sorry for that Mike guy. What was it that he called his female friends, "Panty Droppers" ha ha ha. He deserves what he gets from Corral if he is going to say something like that in front of her.

I like episode 3 much more than the past ones. There wasn't as much of the race crap. I thought the whole thing with Rachel being hit on by the guy in the club and her reaction to the thing afterward was hilarious. Also, it focused on the Kevin-Lori relationship. All in all MUCH improved. I also think Malik seems like a really cool guy. I hope Tuesday's is good.
