Poked around briefly last night. Was surprised they did not have Knight Rider, Miami Vice and some other 80s TV on there.

I searched the website, but have not registered. I didn’t see it listed anywhere in the shows section. I wasn’t sure if they listed more shows if you register.
It’s on Prime.

Weird since Miami Vice and Knight Rider are both on the NBC app.

Anyone watching on Roku with the commercial free plan and still seeing commercials?

Having those and other 80's shows is probably the only reason why I'd buy into this. Overall though, at this point, there's already too many of these services. I don't have that much time to see all the offerings, even the ones I'm interested in.

I only glanced briefly, but it looks like they have all of Murder She Wrote, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and Seaquest DSV, which piques my interest.

Do these include the musical performances?

So what am I missing here? I singed up for the free premium trial as I wanted to watch Bill Burr on Saturday Night Live tonight and......there's no live streaming??? What the hell is this?

Found the answer to my question on their site....you will never be able to watch live tv - they said that new episodes/shows will be released 8ndays after they air......annnnnnnnnnnnd I cancelled.

I'm on the paid tier and SNL was posted tonight. I'm assuming you were trying to sample the free ad supported tier? On my tier, they have all 46 seasons of SNL and every episode.

and Peacock has never promised live NBC. The do have some live channels, but not OTA NBC. You need a cable provider to access that on the NBC app.

Sorry it wasn't to your liking, but I like Peacock. I think it's pretty decent for a startup service.

Some of the SNL episodes are highly edited with music gone and sketches I've noticed. A few episodes are only 10 minutes long and alot of the 2000s episodes are 30 minutes.

No, I was doing the 7 day trial and had access to everything. I expected streaming and didn't get it so I cancelled.

Re: Peacock -- NBC Universal streaming service

Anyone having trouble watching Peacock TV on Amazon Fire TV Stick(sideloaded)?

Mine is calling for an update(which can't be found).

I have a Roku device on the same tv but since it's an older device it doesn't have Peacock TV.

I had a problem with that and Hbo Max a week or so ago.
Shows would load and play sound but only one image would be static on the screen.

The excellent Treadstone is up...loosely tied to the Bourne universe, it was a great action/spy/thriller...sadly cancelled already but worth watching.

I’m in the same boat as you, mine is also sideloaded, and I’m guessing that’s the problem, can’t get the update because it’s not “legit”, kind of like a Blu-ray player that’s modified so it has no warranty. Hopefully the people who created the sideload will come up with the update too. Might be worth some googling and YouTubing.

The Bill Burr episode? Thats crazy that it takes that long to show up as you can go on SNLs YouTube Channel and most every skit is posted the next day. Do they get more views on YT making more money?

SNL is on Hulu the next day after airing. For some inane reason, Peacock has a longer delay. American Ninja Warrior is also a week behind.

Is there another update?

Peacock has been very sluggish with the Amazon FireTV sideload.

Re: Peacock -- NBC Universal streaming service

I know not many here have Peacock, but season 3 of Yellowstone (the Kevin Costner series) which aired this past summer will be available on Sunday.

Re: Peacock -- NBC Universal streaming service

I'm guessing the 3 seasons of Yellowstone will be on the paid tier only? I'll try out Peacock to see it.
