Fandango at Home is sending out year in review summaries. They tell you how many movies and tv shows that you bought (166 for me), your favorite genre (Drama), and how much time you spent streaming movies and tv (4 days 10 hours 11 minutes).

My favorite day to shop was Tuesday too. I forgot to post it, but all the sales start on Tuesday.

Which I thought was funny. I bet my second favorite day is Friday when other sales happen. Also I ship there much more often than Tuesday. I think their metric is which day we make the most purchases.

Bought 226 movies, Drama, Monday, 13 days 20 hours 33 minutes

I'm surprised to see such low viewing numbers posted, I'm guessing you only just buy movies and not watch them?

Only 8 movies, Action, Sunday and 5 hours 9 minutes.

I only buy and watch on FaH as a last resort (or upgrading to 4K). I watch everything I can via iTunes, then MA and finally FaH.

I prefer to watch movies at Movies Anywhere since they use a higher bitrate. Apple TV is my second option and Fandango at Home is my last option. I prefer to buy at Apple Tv since they give free 4K upgrades. I wonder if my purchase number includes code redeemed at Movies Anywhere since I don''t think I bought nearly 150 movies at Fandango at Home.

I don't think mine does... eight sounds about right for titles purchased at FaH... I have redeemed codes at MA for at least 10-12 titles.

I checked. I only had 61 purchases with a dollar amount and the majority were tv shows. The rest were code redemptions from physical releases, Fanflix purchases, or MA ports from purchases at Apple TV or Amazon.

Yeah my numbers don't match up... I only see maybe 6 purchases and about 55-60 MA ports and a few FanFlix and physical release codes.

I had 30.5 pages on my purchase history for 2025. Each page has ten items so that adds up to about 305 purchases/ports/free 4K upgrades. Unless they're counting each individual tv season.

Re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes

I counted everything up and had 181 including every single tv season. Still 15 off. I'm going to quit trying to figure it out and go to the gym now.

I quit trying to figure it out when I hit send on the previous post. Went and gave my AirPods (and cases) the alcohol scrub they needed.

Probably.

For me, :185 Movies & TV shows, Tuesdays, 9 Days, 14 hours. Suspect it's that high because my daughter worked her way through the entire run of Mad Men. I don't watch that much.

That makes sense. I purchase everything through Vudu so my Lionsgate or Paramount and all my TV purchases are there so I use it by default. I have the Google TV streamer box and the Fandango at Home looks great there with the 4K video and Atmos sound. I haven't actually tried the Movies Anywhere app.

You should try Movies Anywhere out. Caleb Denison recommended them as the best app to stream movies on back when he worked for Digital Trends. Movies Anywhere looks better to my old eyes at least.

Uh oh, the Criterion sale is back. I bought Umbrellas of Cherbourg, but last time they kept adding titles for several weeks, sometimes in cheaper bundles, so I’m holding off on the Samurai titles etc. for now.

Fandango themselves are doing $75 for $100, so that 25% is better than WalMart's 20%, on the face of it.

Re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes

I see this:

GIFT AND GET GIFTED!

Get 10% off on orders of $50+ with code DEC25.
Get 15% off on orders of $100+ with code DECMORE25.
Get 15% + $15 Fandango Promo Code on orders of $130+ with code HOLIDAY25.*

*Purchase $130.00 or more worth of Fandango gift card(s) in a single order on Fandango.com between 12:01am PT on Monday 12/1/2025 and 11:59pm PT on Wednesday 12/31/2025. At checkout, enter promo code HOLIDAY25 (“Code”) to get (i) 15% off your order & (ii) one Fandango promotional code (“Fandango Promo Code”) good for up to $15 off the purchase of one movie ticket (up to $15 total ticket & associated fees & charges) to see any movie at Fandango partner theaters in the U.S. Code must be entered at gift card checkout to get discount & Fandango Promo Code.

So a $130 order would be $19.50 (15%) + $15 = $34.50 off $130, or 26% off, assuming you think the movie ticket promo code is as good as money.

Fandango FanClub | Movie Theater Membership | Fandango

Did anyone take advantage of this offer and have it go smoothly? It's been an adventure for me.

Bought 2 movie tickets on Fandango on November 24th, the first day of this special offer regarding bonus codes. I signed up for FanClub to avoid the fees and was enrolled with the 7 day free trial. I was then charged the monthly $9.99 on December 1st.

10-14 days later and I realized I never received the bonus codes via e-mail or anyehwere. When I log into FanClub, I see the $10 code which is part of the monthly service.

I originally couldn't find a phone number to call, so late one evening I submitted an inquiry through the "contact us for help" link on the website. As soon as I submitted, I saw a chat feature so I attempted to utilize that for more immediate help.

The first associate put me on hold multiple times while they researched it, probably for about 10 minutes each time. Despite me explaining that I had monitored my e-mail and junk folder repeatedly, I was told it was likely in my junk folder. I pulled up my junk folder, scanned back over the last week or so and see nothing. Go back to the chat after being "away" for 2 minutes and they've disconnected it.

I entered the chat again--this time a different associate puts me on hold...while on hold, I get an email saying your membership has been cancelled! I quickly type in the chat that I didn't want that. I was then disconnected again!

I requested a chat for the 3rd time and told no associates were available!

The next morning I have an e-mail asking me to call them. Did so and talked to a kind woman who apologized for all the trouble. She indicated it wasn't cancelled. She requested screenshots of the charge on my credit card. I agree to do so, though it seems strange. They should clearly say I paid and was charged. After hanging up, I sent as a reply to the e-mal with the requested info.

A day later, another e-mail asking me to call. This time, I did so and a person told me that she couldn't see any reason why I didn't get the codes. But that it would take 3 days to review.

I'm still waiting with no sign of resolution yet.
