Even if the execution never quite reaches the level of the premise, I really enjoyed Mystery Team.

I tried to stream this yesterday, but my streaming was all screwed up.

Last night, I streamed Killer's Kiss (a 50s film noir directed by Kubrick) and then Persona (a 60s mindfuck directed by Bergman). The former was average, I thought, but the latter was great. There were some editing choices that I felt bordered on being outright gimmicky, rather than artistic, but the drama was visceral and the performances by Bibi Andersson and Liv Ullman were astounding. If you enjoyed Black Swan (and aren't the kind of person who refuses to watch subtitled foreign pictures), I think there's a high probability that you, too, will dig Persona.

I just powered thru all of Arrested Development since that is supposed to be going away.
Of course, sometimes shows don't actually go away but I wasn't going to take any chances with that one.

could someone tell me how i add just one particular season of a long running sitcom? i want just Cheers (S11) but can't seem to find the "Add Instantly" button, only S1 even though all episodes can be played online...

I'm not sure you can anymore. Netflix has made it so that a lot of shows have all the seasons combined into one long listing...

Just noticed that Lustig's "Vigilante" is up now. Watching it for the first time since Maniac and Maniac Cop are two of my favorite horror flix.

Looks like "Breaking Bad" seasons 1-3 are now up for anyone who wants to catch up on the best show on t.v.

All 6 seasons of The Wonder Years have been posted. It was noted in another thread that some music has been replaced though. There are a few new NBC shows from last season that are in there too like The Event and The Cape.

The Ernie Kovacs Collection was one of the stealth additions in the past few days (it didn't pop up on InstantWatcher, anyway). It's a fairly comprehensive overview of the far-too-short television career of one of the first comedians who truly exploited the technical possibilities in the new medium.

The entire season of "Malcom in the Middle" is up which is nice since I don't think they ever made it past Season 1 on dvd. And "Deep Space Nine" finally has joined all the other Trek series that have been on for awhile.

It's about damn time! I was wondering what was up with DS9 missing here yet being available on Amazon's Instant Video streaming.

Trollhunter is available now.

I missed that this one has been available since August, but "13 Assassins" is on Watch Instantly (and in HD too). It's a very well-made samurai movie directed (more conventionally than usual) by Takashi Miike.

It's highly rated by most reviewers too:

As to whether it's a Horror Movie or a Thriller, check it out and decide.

I quite enjoyed it, probably the best found-footage film I've seen.
