As if it needed to be confirmed, ALL FOUR codes do not work as of right now.

Whether they honor or not, I don't blame DDD for whatever they decide.

Major bummer ..... had about $400 worth in the cart, and couldn't check out .... I am not a happy camper.

I don't blame them, but I am pissed I cancelled my Batman Animated and Film Noir v.01 pre-orders w/ STL. At least I didn't cancel the K Street/Lower Depths one. In any case, grrrr.

DAMMIT!!! That'll teach me to leave the cart full overnight so I could check with friends in the morning to see if they wanted anything.

Two hours wasted and now I'm late for leaving on a trip.

No one knows they are going to cancel the orders. although they might.

right now all my orders are showing in progress on the items that are in stock. so it looks like if they wait the items might ship

I cancelled my Simpsons Season 4 order from Amazon w/STL, but I did not cancel 2 other STL pre-orders. If this deal does not go through I will just re-order from Amazon.

The DVDtalk discount would not take this morning. I had entered it last night but things were too slow. Tried the same code this morning and it replied I had already used it.

Tried USATODAY and it worked. Conformation email has arrived with discount clearly shown.

SO, there is the 20% discount available just not with DVDtalk

It worked just now? Others have said that all the codes are dead.

I received the order confirmation email but not the second one with the order confirmation number in it. I hope they honor it.

btw, I placed two orders early this morning, one for current titles and a second one for preordered titles using "DVDSALE" and "DVDTALK" Both showed the discount at checkout.

FWIW, I received email confirmations for both orders, and an hour ago, I rec'd another email from DDD with the Order # for only the second order (preorders). Still waiting for the Order # for the first one. Let's hope for the best.

I placed a huge order with preorders and a couple of non-preorders - they have already charged my credit card for the non-preorders and the preorders that come out this tuesday - they did indeed give me the 20% off...nice

I think their servers were pounded so heavily that they weren't able to get all of the order emails out. I didn't get the initial email for my first order, and I didn't get the "order number" email for my second, but they both show up under my "order status".

I had a feeling something was wrong with the deal since they were using old coupon codes from last years sale. I kept all of my Amazon STL preorders but one open just in case DDD decides to cancel the orders. I only placed one order and hopefully DDD will honor it. I did receive an order confirmation email with the coupon discount reflected in the order total, and it is on my order status page on the website. Waiting patiently for DDD's next move.

I received confirmation e-mails for both my pre-orders and they are showing up in my order status area at the discounted price. If they honor the orders, cool. If they don't, cool. Either way I'm still going to buy from DDD.

It worked about 9 AM EST using USATODAY, and I received a confirmation showing my order with the discount shown. Same confirmation I always receive when placing an order but this time with a discount.

I am of the opinion they will honor the sales but that their equipment could not handle the amount of packets it was receiving. To save their equipment they probably just shut off the discount.

Kinda like a bridal gown sale in Filene's basement. A few minutes after they open the doors, they close them. Too many people and no product remaining!!
