You're too zoomed in. The ads scale within a certain frame, but after that stay the same size. The best way to keep everything legible and not deal with those ads is to revert to mobile view.

Why are you trying to use the desktop site on mobile?

I sometimes need to use the full version if I have to perform admin duties using a mobile device, but generally, I keep it in mobile mode.

I like the look and feel of regular site. Just like my desktop. Don’t really like mobile view. But, never had this problem till recently and nothing has changed.

Try a different mobile browser, like Edge.
I have no problems with Edge.

Fake edit: no, actually I do. And only on this site. Sometimes when I try to backspace after hitting return, it does nothing. And sometimes it garbles words up if I'm trying to edit them in the middle of a line.
But I blame this site. It works perfectly everywhere else.

Doesn't always work. I STILL get that issue when you try to go to last page of thread, it won't take you there, but to the one before it. You literally can't get to the last page unless you go to desktop version. Annoying as all fuck and this is literally the only site on the fucking Internet that does that for me.

Can this issue please be taken seriously and reviewed? It is not simply threads with deletions.

And it is also not only on mobile site. It occurs on full version as well, but then you can at least scroll down to the end of the thread.

Can you provide a screenshot of it occurring on desktop? Is your browser window zoomed in?

Will do when possible, but unsure it will show anything beneficial. When it happens on desktop, the page won't go to last post but you can scroll to the last post. It does not occur on every thread that is affected on the mobile side.

OK, I may be misunderstanding what is going on. Can you provide an example where you can't get to the last page on mobile? Do you have Infinite Scroll enabled on Desktop? What browser are you using (on both devices)?

That one works normal on desktop.

OK I tested this a noticed a few things:
#1 is that the number of pages is different. I believe mobile is set at default to 25 posts/page and my desktop is set to 40/page. So 3 pages on mobile, 2 pages on desktop (I do not use Infinite Scroll)
#2 I was able to get to the last page in a few different ways in mobile- clicking on the last post from the thread index and clicking on "Last Page" at the top of the thread. However, it did take a moment and first routed me to the 2nd page, before going onto the 3rd/last page

There is no way to get to the last page on mobile for me. It is not an issue of taking longer or using an alternative measure, nothing works and this has been reported similarly by others.

More recent example, the Getting Old Sucks thread in Other. 7 pages on mobile but using any method to access last post or page only takes me to page 6.

What's the number of the last post you see?

However, when the issue arises, it will go to the first post of the 2nd to last page of thread. Recent examples: Have you had travel plans affected by COVID-19? which goes to post 121 after clicking and able to scroll to post 160 & 2021 MLB regular season thread which goes to post 201 on mobile when clicking last post. Able to scroll to post #240.
