I got a similar email to the above, except that it says I'll get Peacock Premium free for at least two more years (until June 2025) if I keep their gig-Internet plan.

Yeah, the way Peacock is using their streaming service to cover the Olympics is baffling. I figured I could go there to see the events live, but nope.

I've only browsed the menus (agreed, they're really set up oddly), but haven't actually watched anything yet...really nothing there that I'm keen on checking out - might take another look at Greatest...

I'm an Xfinity customer and Comcast hasn't clued anyone in to the fact that this is launching tomorrow (meaning emailing customers or mailing out flyers, etc...I know there are plenty of news...

Peacock is fine as a name...it's NBC-related and it's not something stupid (like, say "HBOMax" :lol:).

This lineup looks better than what Apple is putting out.

Depends on how intrusive it is...I find the ads on both Hulu and CBS Access to be fine, as they're relatively short and come at natural breaks in the programming.

Streaming services only work if they offer original content. I see nothing in the article about that...seems like they just want to stream TV old shows and movies.

Might be bad news for Hulu -...
