Re: Scarlett Johansson is the Sexiest Woman Alive!

Move Kate Beckinsale to #1. She spanks all of them. Only Halle Berry is in her class.

Re: Scarlett Johansson is the Sexiest Woman Alive!

No, not even close. There are many women in Hollywood that are hotter. She's got a great pair of fun bags. That's about it. Not unattractive, but nowhere near that title.

Re: R.I.P.D -- D: Schwentke S: Reynolds, Bridges, Bacon -- 7/19/13

Pacific Rim is not even going to come close to breaking even, unless it has some incredible staying power that rare few movies have. The film needs close to 400 million worldwide for them to break...

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015, D: Abrams, S: The casts of Star Trek, Lost, Felicit

Ugh! Ryan "One Expression" Gosling does not fit Star Wars, and Zac Efron? I'm not the least bit surprised. The "it's better than the prequels" excuses need to stop. The entire point is to do far...

Re: Star Trek 3 (2016)

Star Trek has never been huge at the box office. This is not surprising, but at least they were profitable, and significantly so.

Re: Henry Selick Slams DESPICABLE ME 2, Animation Biz...

I agree with you. Right now Disney animated films are starting to get better than Pixar, and I thought it would be a while before I said that. Pixar has gotten sequel-itis.

re: Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) D: Gunn; S: Pratt, Zaldana, Bautista, Gillan, Cooper

I rest my case. Kick-Ass didn't even break 100 million worldwide, and the only reason it made a profit was because of an extremely small budget. Watchmen not only sucked(imo), but it lost quite a lot...

re: Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) D: Gunn; S: Pratt, Zaldana, Bautista, Gillan, Cooper

I don't know about this shit. Does anyone really think this project is going to do well? I'm not familiar with this at all, so I'm asking with all sincerity. It looks odd and the characters are...

Re: Pacific Rim (del Toro, 2013) — The Reviews Thread

Pacific Rim's box office looks like Total Recall from last year. 200 million dollars budget and will top out between 200-250 million worldwide. That pretty much kills any hope for a sequel, unless it...

Re: The Weekend of Too Many Flops? Box Office Thread 7/17 - 7/21

Only if you think a guy that looks like he has a mild case of Down's Syndrome to be better looking. You think he's way better looking than Reynolds? Jeez! Reynolds is definitely better looking than...

Re: Eliza Graves (2014) (D: Brad Anderson; S: Sturgess, Beckinsale)

Here's some more casting news. We'll see if it's any good. Premise sounds fairly interesting and Anderson has done some really good work. This seems right up his alley. David Thewlis and Brendan...

Re: Riddick: September 6, 2013

Based on that trailer, it looks like a made for cable Sci-Fi movie.

LOL! Well, now that Disney owns Star Wars, it may get released after all.

Re: Iron Man 3 (Black, 2013) — The Reviews Thread

This film started off with incredibly high praise, but the more I hear about it the worse it gets. Opinion has gotten more and more negative over time. I've decided to hold off on seeing this in...

Re: The Great Gatsby (2012) D: Baz Luhrmann starring Leo Dicaprio

Education is largely what you make of it. You can send a kid to the greatest school on Earth, but if he doesn't give a damn, he's not going to get a great education.

As for The Great Gatsby, there...

Re: Zhang Yimou has too many children!

It can't be any worse than Jackie Chan's defense of censorship and control of the Chines people and it's media, all while attacking the U.S. as the most corrupt country in the world. That's laughable...

Yes it is! Starship Troopers is trash. This looks far better and far more fun.

Re: Critics should stop picking on Robert DeNiro

Not nearly as many as there were when he was younger. This is what happens. People get older, and they just don't have access to as much great work as they used to. Hell, actresses often experience a...

re: Thor: The Dark World (2013; D: Taylor; S: Hemsworth, Portman, et al.)

I've grown tired of the Loki character. They need to do something else.

He's done very well on TV, but film is a different beast entirely.

re: Thor: The Dark World (2013; D: Taylor; S: Hemsworth, Portman, et al.)

Loved the first one, but with Kenneth Branagh gone, I'm worried that this one is going to stink by comparison. The director has some a lot of TV, but never a feature film. We'll see.

I can't believe I hit all three "show" buttons in that post, even though I knew it was going to be a waste of time.
