Looks legit. It's "Pitch Black 2."

I'm a little underwhelmed, definitely more Pitch Black then Chronicles, but i'm hoping there's more to it then just bounty hunters after Riddick again.

Guess it could be cool, but I wish the atmosphere was more horror oriented. Pitch Black was more of a horror movie than anything else.

I think it looks like good, gory fun... but every single supporting cast member seems like a typical archetype. Would've been a bit cooler if they drop the overused bounty hunter angle and made this more of a solo adventure.

Goddammitt!!!!!! I wanna see the continuation of the Necromonger storyline. "You keep what you kill." so instead of being the leader of the Necromonger army we get this rehash of Pitch Black. The last film set it up so that maybe Riddick would seek out Kyra in the afterlife. So disappointing.
It will be interesting to see Batista's film presence leading into GotG, though.

The second movie was very large. The design was heavy and industrial. The Necromongers seemed unbeatable. It was frightening and thrilling. But hey, I still wasn't crazy about it.

I like how they make a big deal out of him seeing in the dark
are they saying that humans capable of interstellar space flight don't have night vision goggles?
and how did he go from taking over a huge group that could pretty much take over any planet they wanted to being hunted by a crappy bunch of bounty hunters?

Uh, I'm not a fan of Katee Sackhoff. This will probably be a rental for me.

I'm one of the few who liked Chronicles more than Pitch Black, so I'm disappointed that it's not a direct sequel to the last one.

With how badly Chronicles bombed, critically and commercially, who is honestly surprised by them abandoning that story? Come on, be honest with yourself. Not a single person should be surprised by this turn of events.

It seems the trailer confirms that Karl Urban is just a cameo at the beginning, given there's not even a frame of him in it.
I hope things were brightened for the trailer and will be darker in the actual movie because it all looks really cheap. The first flick was also very cheap but it looked slick.
I was also in the minority that liked Chronicles but the character of Riddick in that movie was far removed from the one in Pitch Black. Same name and same actor but a very different character. He was almost a nice guy in Chronicles compared to how he was in Pitch Black. This Riddick seems totally different as well with his almost jokey nature.
Oh and Katee Sackhoff sucks. I hope she dies early and dies ugly.

I thought most would've known this was going to be a low/moderate budgeted film, reverting back to the Pitch Black roots. It looks visually bright for some reason, but it should provide a fun 100min. Nothing groundbreaking or anything, but certainly better than a Resident Evil movie...

Put me in that small room, too. I liked PB, but really dug what Twohy did in fleshing that universe out to a truly epic level in Chronicles.
