One factor to be considered to be placing it underneath in the cabinet would be resonances in the cabinet. I could see this being a problem, especially at high volume levels.

The wega 'squeeze' can be performed but only by going into the service menu and manually changing the settings. This is the only way and then it must be switched back when you are done....
