Re: Any Billy Madison fans?

In response to stupid comments, I’ll often give the whole “In no way did your answer make any sense, everyone in this room is dumber having heard it, I award you no points and may God have mercy on...

Re: Any Billy Madison fans?

I worked at a theater when all of those were out, I didn’t like Happy Gilmore nearly as much. I didn’t know who Adam Sandler was until Billy Madison came out, we didn’t get any trailers for it so I...

Re: Any Billy Madison fans?

The first 20 minutes or so are pretty bad, but it really gets better after that. I may lose credibility but I think it’s one of the funniest movies of all time.

Re: Bonus material - Waste of time or do you like knowing more about the movie?

Do I WATCH them? Hell yes, I watch literally EVERYTHING on my discs (including the FBI warnings) at least one time no matter what. Do I CARE about them? That's another story. In the laserdisc days...

Re: Tubi -- ad supported streaming service

Anyone else get an invite for the “Test Tube” feedback community? Doesn’t seem like they’ve been selective about it as both my email addresses got invites, of course I have tons of feedback for them.

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.

It’s on Vudu, I don’t want it that badly though.

Re: RIP 99 cents only stores — All 371 stores to close

They would’ve at least gotten my business back if they did. As long as the sign says “99 Cents Only Stores,” I’m not paying more than 99 cents for anything.

Re: RIP 99 cents only stores — All 371 stores to close

Well yeah, Motel 6 should still be $6 but even their name isn’t as blatantly false- it’s not like it’s called “The $6 Motel”. 7-11 I see as an improvement as being open 24 hours is better than just 7...

Re: RIP 99 cents only stores — All 371 stores to close

Wow, for once I wasn’t the only one who was pissed off by a company’s stupidity. I stopped even going into their stores when they started having stuff that was more than 99 cents- and I TOTALLY GET...

Re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes

Private Lessons is on sale for $1.99, or free with ads. Blu-Ray is out of print though a new one may be coming. Surprised nobody’s tried to ban it.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

I got emails confirming the purchases but none about the removals. This is the first time I’ve seen digital movies taken away from a screw-up, every other time they’ve just eaten them and maybe...

I still have “Sex Tape” from when that was mistakenly listed for free BEFORE the release date even!

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

Wonder if my Christmas Story HD-DVD has rotted? I had at least two Fugitive HD-DVDs rot but those were defective transfers anyways.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

I just got notice of that also. Hope they don’t end up counting that as “fraudulent” and kill my account, I’ve heard of them doing that to some people with no notice.

Don’t they know they could fit in another showing if they ran less of that crap?

Re: Blu-ray and DVD sales - We're number 2, but we try harder

Went thrifting yesterday and saw TONS of Blu-Ray players for $25 or less. When Blu-Ray players show up at Goodwill in mass quantities, they aren’t “new” technology anymore.

Re: Tubi -- ad supported streaming service

They should at least be required to show a message saying “edited for content” if they’re gonna do that. Some comments have said that some movies are still uncut and some are sanitized versions which...

Re: Redbox: Deathwatch

Saw a picture on Reddit of a Redbox machine on its side by the store trash, waiting to be hauled off. Lots of posts from people wondering how it could be used at home.

Video rental stores were...
