The Official Severin Blu-ray Thread
I figured I'd create a separate thread for these guys, as discussion of their releases has spilled over into the BU/Synapse thread. Feel free to post any reviews, news, artwork or whatnot in this thread dealing with all pre-existing, announced, or possible Severin Blu-ray releases. Here are the pre-existing Severin threads:
“SANTA SANGRE” to make U.S. DVD/Blu-ray debut
"The Stunt Man" BD & DVD 6/7 (+ more upcoming)
Horror Express and The House that Dripped Blood from Severin
BMX Bandits coming next week!
Their Blu-ray releases so far:
Birdemic: Shock and Terror
BMX Bandits
Devolved
Dogora
Eagles Over London
Hardware
Inglorious Bastards
Loose Screws
Santa sangre
Screw Balls
Shopping
The Stunt Man
With regards to the two Amicus titles (Horror Express and The House That Dripped Blood), I posted this:

Back in December they told me via email that we'd get both by the second quarter of 2011, but still no news. I sent them a follow-up email a month ago, but didn't get a reply.

Re: The Official Severin Blu-ray Thread
The Stuntman pre-order dropped a dollar to $18.99, or 37% off. I'm hoping it will pop up in my Gold Box before release date.

It's most likely we'll get the Amicus titles around Halloween. I think Synapse is withholding the other Hammers for that time as well.

From Severin's blog:
No mention of House that Dripped Blood. Hopefully Seven Corpses (though a terrible film) will be Blu-ray, along with Horror Express.
2011 has played host to a murderer’s row of cinematic delights; Santa Sangre, Shopping, Birdemic, BMX Bandits, Devolved and The Stunt Man (with a new transfer and 6 new hours of bonus features) have already hit, with Bloody Birthday, The Baby, Nightmares, House Of Seven Corpses, and Horror Express standing on deck…with a slew of other surprises to follow.

From Blu-ray.com--
In an early announcement to retailers, MPI Media Group have revealed that they will release on Blu-ray Gene Martin's cult film Horror Express (1972), starring Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Telly Savalas, Alberto de Mendoza, and Silvia Tortosa. Technical specs and region coding status for this release are unknown at the moment. Street date is September 27th.

Yeah, nice to see companies use original art. The isolated score track from the Image disc would have been nice, but no biggie. I'm guessing House of Seven Corpses will also get a pre-Halloween release.

Re: The Official Severin Blu-ray Thread
But the list-price is $19.99, which doesn't bode well for a Blu-ray, as Horror Express' list-price is $29.99. The only vendor that shows up for the release so far is DVD Planet, and their listing doesn't specify format.
