Re: The Greasy Strangler (2016)

Answer: A lot - dunno, found every time they said it or some derivative, funny as hell. But again, as you said - I think it's either your bag or isn't.

Re: The Greasy Strangler (2016)

We kept avoiding watching this movie - just didn't look that interesting, to be honest. Three minutes in, we were hooked and wondering: What the fuck?!? Ten minutes in we were laughing hysterically...

The Greasy Strangler (2016)

So, the wife and I watched The Greasy Strangler (2016) a couple of nights ago. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Instantly quotable, completely off-beat, funny as hell - hilarious, bizarre...

The sets are...

Re: Updating the special effects in old movies

I'm not a fan of changing anything in films.

With this original topic, why does it have to be restricted to SFX? Could it not be argued that black and white films WOULD have been filmed in colour...

re: 3 From Hell (2019, D: Rob Zombie) -- sequel to The Devil's Rejects

Ah, fair enough. I'm a fan of all of his movies - I think I'm -screwy-

re: 3 From Hell (2019, D: Rob Zombie) -- sequel to The Devil's Rejects

Not being confrontational here at all, so please don't think so, just curious: why were you so mad? I'm not trying to change your opinion or anything - it's cool. :)

Now, the first BAD horror...

re: 3 From Hell (2019, D: Rob Zombie) -- sequel to The Devil's Rejects

LMFAO! You should count yourself lucky if Halloween II is the worst horror film you've ever seen. I've seen the worst, shitty horror films - movies that would make sweet baby Jesus gouge his own...

Re: if you could save one actor from the ravages of time, who would it be?

I'm a huge fan of Jackie, but can I instead just bring back a young Buster Keaton, before he was contracted with MGM?

Re: Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief (HBO documentary)

I was born and grew up Mormon (haven't been to church now in about 20 years) and worked for Scientology in the 90's. I want to see this special, so will try to track it down.

Never was nor am I...

Returning to comics after 2 1/2 years - Please help with pull list

Hi All,

I've been collecting comics on and off for many many years, but have been away for the last 2 1/2 years or so. I've decided to get back into them, and even though I will be picking up some...

Re: Dumb And Dumber To (2014, Farrelly Brothers) S: Carrey, Daniels

I loved the original and it's still one of my top 5 all time favorite comedies. The new trailer looks funny as hell to me, actually. I'll see it in the theater and am really looking forward to it!

Re: Game of Thrones -- "The Watchers on the Wall" -- 6/8/14

I, for one, LOVED this episode - definitely one of my favourites. I don't quite get the logic of "I don't care about the wall characters" as a reason to dislike the episode. If Cersei and Tywin and...

Re: Rik Mayall (Young Ones) dead

Really bummed. He was a favourite as a teen who loved The Young Ones and later, Bottom. His voicework on Chicken Run was great craic and of course, he was really great in Drop Dead Fred. I was...

Good Script, Good Acting, Bad Director?

I've been thinking about this lately - there's a lot of horrible movies out there, but they almost all seem to have bad acting/casting, bad script, bad effects, bad editing or some combination...

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014, Singer)

About Quicksilver:

At first, I agreed with many folks that said/thought "get over it"...

Then I saw the pic. Holy shit, he looks ridiculous. What's with the pouches/utility belt (Rob...

Re: Best Acting performance of the 80's?

Love seeing Ogre on all of the Capital One commercials!

And we all know that Poindexter is by far, the best nerd!

Re: The Cabin in the Woods (Goddard, 2012) — The Reviews Thread (Spoilers)

Is that because I barely caught this on BD or because I haven't posted much in a long time? ;)

Being one of the longest-standing members of this site, I don't post as much as much as I should.
