It was great!

I believe Ghost have been added to next year's Iron Maiden US tour. Good for you guys, but it gives me an excuse to stay in the bar longer.

I read that but thought it was only for the EU?

I almost want to take Monday off and drive to San Diego to see them again. I'm far too busy with work, but I can dream., can't I?

Here's last night's performance. It's obviously edited for time, not for content. Love that keytar solo!

You may be right. I was just going off what someone had told me.

A great band that I had never heard of before checking out this thread. I now have downloads of every studio album and have enjoyed them all.

That is awesome news!

I was listening to their new album in the car with my kids the other day, and while "From the Pinnacle to the Pit" was playing, my six year old daughter said "This is one of my favorite songs, it's really catchy". That's my girl!

There was a clip of a toddler singing "Guleh/Zombie Queen" on their FB page that was pretty cool.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

My wife hates my music but will actually listen to some Ghost. I catch her humming some of the songs around the house. I don't really care about the Grammys but it would be funny if Ghost went up on stage in full attire.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I dont think the heavy metal award portion is ever aired, but that would be cool.

Glad to see Ghost get the recognition. Love the album! But I never saw that clip of the toddler singing lol

Actually it looks like you are correct. They are announced before the ceremony. Lame

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Figures, the only reason I'd watch the Grammys is something that isn't even aired, so never mind, I'll go back to not watching it.

My kids can sing the choruses to "Pinnacle" and "He Is" at this point. My son asked me what "He Is" is about, and I just nonchalantly said "Oh, it's about the devil." (I absolutely love that song BTW, I think it will be the next single/video)

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Ghost is coming back to the US in the spring. I just snagged tickets to their Niagara Falls show in April. I wasn't able to attend their last shows that were near me, so I am really stoked that I will FINALLY be able to see them, can't wait!

The are playing 15 minutes from my house so I'm very happy. Anytime I can avoid going into the city for a show I'm a happy camper.

I was interested in the VIP Meet & Greet until I saw the prices. $250?!.....fuck that.

Looks like the closest they are getting will be Tucson. If I hadn't seen them in October, I would have considered a road trip.

Yeah, I'll wait until they're back. Here's hoping they play at Belasco or Club Nokia next.

I also wouldn't be surprised if they sprinkle in some shows here way before the April start date of the official second leg of the tour.

Yeah, the venue near me is only 20 minutes away and has free parking, so I'm happy. Last tour I would have had to go to Toronto to see them, which is 90 minutes away, sucky traffic and expensive parking, so this is much better. Plus this venue (the Rapids Theatre) is supposed to be haunted, so that's very suitable! I'm bringing my son, who is also a fan, his first rock concert.

Yeah, $250 was more than I was willing to pay. If it included great tickets as well, it might be almost tempting, but the package just includes the same general admission tickets.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I'm seeing plenty of WC dates. WA, OR, CA...

Oddly enough I may join a friend in Idaho even though they will be playing much closer to home. That same friend has been to many shows at the Knitting Factory an swears it's an awesome place to see a show.

Knitting Factory in Boise? I've been there - it's a pretty cool venue and they have an upstairs bar/dining area but I'm sure you would have to factor in the price in your ticket - it's not free to sit up there.

They played there in 2015 and I don't think it sold out. I never saw any pics of the performance but they did play at a radio station. I was there last March and caught a few bands there.

I'm going for the vinyl Box.

Hey Blue did you end up ordering this? Thoughts?

Now that I have a turntable I think I may get it if possible. I saw it for sale (for $100 I think) at the show when I saw em in October. Im going to see them again in April and may get it than. Do you remember if you saw this at the show when you saw em in LA? Remember the price?
