Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

The setlist from this tour is absolutely insane. I'm so disappointed its not coming near me. Hopefully they will have a second leg of the tour early next year.

What's the setlist? I'm sure they swing back to North America after they tour Europe. I hope so because the first leg has no shows near me either.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I think you might be right. In fact, I think it's part of the rotating setlist. They closed the show with SH and not MC.

Can't believe Chicago is getting skipped this leg.

Jigolo Har Megiddo (Acoustic)
If You Have Ghosts (Acoustic)
Nice, they need to do more of this kind of thing. Both of these songs sound fantastic done acoustically.

I'm seeing them tonight at a small theater in Cincinnati. Hoping for a good show, the venue typically has good sound.

I'm obsessed with Dance Macabre. I hope that gets a music video and is the 2nd single from the new album. 3 weeks left until the new album comes out!

Really good show last night, the 2nd act was killer. I like Dance Macabre now, and it comes off good live, but I think it's one that I'll grow tired of over time compared to the rest of their tunes.

Sound was great in this small theater, so full and so pounding. A whole lot better than when I saw them at an outdoor festival a couple years ago.

My wife commented that on some tunes Tobias sounds like Neil Tennant of Pet Shop Boys (and I agree he does at times). I told her that they are doing a cover of "It's a Sin" on the new album, and she's stoked about that now.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Seeing them tonight in Detroit. Was there any opening act, or was it just Ghost? I saw them last tour with a opener, but looking at the monster set lists I'm seeing for recent shows at setlist.fm, I'm guessing no opener.

Yeah, that's a great song, can't wait to hear the studio version. I hope this is the second single/video, this song could possibly be a breakout hit for them.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

This is really awesome, at the recent show in Chattanooga, Tobias (should we just call him that now?) walks off the stage into the crowd to briefly hold a little girl's hand and sing to her. I have to admit, based on the two shows I've been to with my son, he really has a soft spot for any kids he sees in the audience (and there always are some). Starting around 4:25 into the video.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I think Tobias has a son and daughter, so there's that affinity for interacting with the kids.

Yeah you're right, I think he has nine year old twins, so it makes sense. I just thought that was very cool, he probably made that girl's night.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I brought my 9 year old daughter last night, and we had a great time. We were in the balcony though. I'm not sure how she would have handled GA floor.

Security at the venue were awesome to us though. The line to get in was gigantic, and when we were still about a block and a half away from the door, a guy came up to us and asked me if it was "just you and the little one". When I said yes he told me to follow him, and took us right up to the front door and let us go in the VIP entrance.

I took my son to his first Ghost show when he was 9 too. Unfortunately we could only get GA floor tickets and it wasn't great. Luckily the venue had a wonderful staff that let us go up to the balcony so my son could see the show better. Most places really seem to try and help out little kids that attend the show with their parent(s).

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

If anyone wants a download code for Meliora PM me. I have that one I don't need when I picked up the vinyl.

It's been claimed now.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I took a video of Pinnacle to the Pit during the Detroit show. You can hear my daughter singing the chorus.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I was scrolling through my Instagram and Chris Jericho posted one of those small video clips and he was listening to the studio track of Dance Macabre. Wow, it sounded phenomenal but I think it will be Ghost's "I Was Made For Lovin' You" track. That's a good thing. Damn, I am so stoked for the new album!

Nice! I remember when Meliora came out and I'd be playing it in the car with my kids and they'd both be singing the chorus to that song.

Ha, nice analogy, I think you are correct about this. The song could be a "crossover" hit for them.

Welp, the album isn't even out but looks like Dance Macabre is my favorite track off of it.
