Dance Macabre is available for download at Amazon.com (and probably other places)

I know it's on youtube. I was just pointing out that if anyone would line to download it legally, it's available through official means.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I pre-ordered this on Amazon (the LP version with the bonus 7") but didn't see Autorip mentioned in the listing. Is that because it isn't released yet or it won't be eligible? I was hoping that I'd be able to download the two songs available so far for free as I had ordered the album but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I've downloaded the 2 songs, but I only bought the MP3 version, not any physical version

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I ordered through Loma Vista, which seems to be their official store for the album, and they've been sending me email links to new tracks as they're released. Nice, but I just want the entire album for a full run-through.

Cool, Dance Macabre is on Spotify now too (along with Rats). Great song!

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

In the chorus, I thought he was saying "wanna be witchu in the moonlight" (as in slang for with you) and for some reason that really bothered me. It's my personal hangup, but I can't stand that kind of slang. But I just read a youtube comment that pointed out he's actually saying "wanna bewitch you in the moonlight"

I guess it's probably on purpose that it can be heard both ways, but I feel better about it now, lol.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Personal preference of course, but Dance Macabre doesn't hold up for me. Catchy groove, and it's 'okay', but waaay down on the list of what I like from them. Rats, however, I think is awesome. I hope the album leans more that way.

Yeah, the studio track sounds like that but then live it sounds like "be with you," so I guess it works out either way.

Ha, I thought the same thing and it was bugging me too, but "wanna bewitch you" makes sense.

I ordered the same version, and as of right now it's not coming with AutoRip. But when a month ago when I preordered the Chvrches album that comes out this week it said it had AutoRip. Some I am thinking that it won't have it, but the vinyl will include a download code. Aside from the first album all of the other Ghost albums included a code, so I expect this one to include one as well.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Good point, I forgot about the download code, now that I think of it my other Ghost albums included one too.

I've heard the album and I can tell you that it is mostly heavy. It even has a couple of instrumentals. The last one on the album is epic!

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Yeah, Blu made a good analogy of "Dance Macabre" with "I Was Made For Loving You". The rest of the Dynasty album didn't sound like that song (production aside perhaps).

I should say that after listening to Dance Macabre a few more times it also reminds me of Thrills in the Night from Kiss. Especially with that chord progression.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Just received the CD complete with shattered case from amazon.com and am really digging the album. Probably my least favorite out of the four, though.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

It's not the heavy/hard album I was hoping for, Rats is probably as heavy as it gets. It's going to have to grow on me, and I'm sure it will.

It's a Sin is pretty much a straight up cover, my wife digs that one (she's a big PSB fan). Avalanche is also a good cover.

The instrumentals are the ones that stuck with me the most after one listen.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Instrumentals are fantastic. I think the only song that didn’t thrill me was Life Eternal. Like that each album has its own sound. It definitely made me want more but that’s better than albums that overstay their welcome.

Love it after the first listen. “Faith” is amazing. Love the production and the dynamics. Lots of good heavy parts to my ears. Can’t wait to crank this one in the car.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

The remainder of last nights Ritual in Milwaukee was cancelled during intermission because a fan died during the show (apparently of natural causes).

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Apparently there are alot of exclusive vinyl variants out there for this release. I just got that smoky one from Amazon. Its sitting at home while Im at work. But Best Buy has a Wood variant - real curious what that looks like (if not just a smear of brown lol)
