Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread
I ordered it this morning from Amazon (the LP), I just got the shipping notice. I did the 5 day deal and get the pantry credit since I am going out of town tomorrow anyway.
Appears they have it in stock

I thought the cover of Bible was awesome (though I don't think I had ever heard the original). Cool song.
Their cover of Missionary Man is kind of bizarre though.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread
This EP has been a bit of a grower for me compared to their previous releases, but after listening to it over the weekend I am warming to it. Of course, "Square Hammer" is frigging awesome (it's the opening song on their new tour too) and the others definitely showcase Papa's great voice. "Missionary Man" is the weakest one for me though.

Just spun the vinyl and have to say that Missionary Man and Bible are my favorite of the cover songs. Bible reminds me of "Journey of 1,000 Years" by Kiss. It's such a non-traditional yet bombastic piece of music.

As some of you may or may not know Ghost has a new female Ghoul on bass. Aether (Omega) is not currently on this tour due to working on another project, so Water (the main bassist) is on Omega's guitar duties and they got this young lady to fill in on bass. They also have already figured out who she is:

I know this is a longshot, but I have an extra main floor GA ticket to tomorrow's show in Detroit if anyone wants it for face value ($30). A friend convinced me to move to a reserved seat in the mezzanine.

I am doing that also, but I'm probably going to take a larger bath that way. Tickets are still available from the box office. So if I can find someone outside of the dealer websites who wants to avoid paying ticketmaster fees, I'm better off that way than also paying a cut to stubhub.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread
I've seen Ghost in concert twice, and both times they put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen. I'm kind of bummed to be missing their upcoming show in my town. I love the new EP, but a collection of mostly covers isn't quite enough to tide me over until their next album.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread
Just got back from their first show at the Wiltern. Splendid, as usual. My pit seats afforded a killer view of the stage. I think Black to the Future had better production but this was nearly even with that tour.
I got covered in glittery confetti and managed to snag a grip of Papa $666 bills.
Bought a tour shirt ($40, but it was a one-off for this show) and a coffee mug. That Square Hammer pic disc vinyl was longgggg gone.
