Like the ERAs concert movie, this new Taylor Swift movie is also not A-List eligible.

Also, it’s 89 minutes

Crazy. I tried logging into my AMC app this morning and it defaulted to the waiting queue and said that I had 7 minutes wait time. Had no idea until after the fact.

Unlike last year, nice that they are playing Taylor’s full catalog on her Sirius XM channel. They didn’t play anything off TS and Reputation last time.

Probably won’t be able to attend this Taylor movie. The 3rd I have my usual medical treatments and I’m seeing The Smashing Machine. The 4th I’m going to see Dua Lipa in concert with my sister and the 5th is my birthday. Oh well.

She knows Fallon is where the young and hip people go to promote their shows and music.

Not for one night. At least the ratings thing. Wonder if there is a betting line on minutes he will be giggling? To be clear I don't dislike Fallon or think he's not funny. He's just shallow as an interviewer and conversationalist.

I believe her albums come out on a Universal label, so it's no mystery as to why she would be appearing on The Tonight Show.

I mean, there isn't many options anymore either, especially with James Corden gone as well. Basically the young people would go on Fallon.

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

T-11 hours.
I think I will listen to it in my Tesla in the garage with the AC on and with a glass of wine or other drink. Probably will stream it from XM Channel 13 for the more communal experience, though I noticed they are playing the non-explicit version of other songs and assume they will play the censored tracks here, which I don't love.
Wonder if CANCELED will be about Trump...

Yeah... I get why but don't love things are censored on the channel (but not limited to just her channel). I'll listen to it first time on Apple Music then switch over to her channel. My physical copy shipped but won't be here for a couple days.

Her site when the pre-order went active. I wasn't actually expecting it to be here release day.

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

Well, absent an ex-boyfriend to go after this time, it looks like Taylor has focused her venom on fellow pop diva Charli XCX, who is married to The 1975's drummer George Daniel (a bandmate of Taylor's ex Matty Healy, who was much-maligned on her last album). Charli wrote a song about how Taylor makes her feel insecure, which doesn't seem that terrible to me, though rooting for them to break up was kinda harsh.

But Taylor being Taylor, she didn't hold back it seems

Dis tracks have been lame since 1971 when John Lennon did it.

When was it revealed that the song was about Taylor? Seems like the comments on YouTube from a year ago are praising Charli's lyrics and it is a catchy song. And then new comments within the past day or so are interesting diving into the "feud" and "diss". I also don't see it as a diss, per say, but Taylor's line about coke is def a clap back slap. One thing about TayTay, she always got to be feuding. Curious if we get anything about Blake on this one.

Wait, did stvn just criticize Taylor Swift for something other than putting out too many album variants?
I'm so proud!
