Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

Will she do a separate tour for Tortured Poets and end the Eras tour soon?

She probably has enough material to cover and probably reduce the running time of those concerts and they don't have to be 3 hrs + shows anymore.

No, she shortened some of her previous set and added 7 TPD songs

She’s still only human. It’s one thing to have Springsteen in his prime doing it but she’s got a full fledged production (dancers, sets, etc) going on with singing, dancing and playing instruments. Even Bruce wasn’t doing three back to back to back shows on a weekly schedule. Plus that long of a show is going to run into curfews at many of the venues. The second half and the International legs of the tour already dropped one of the openers. I would guess that’s for time logistics.

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

I listened to Tortured Poets last night and OldBoy was right it sucks.

I am a Post Malone fan and their duet is boring and a bunch of slow songs and fell asleep around the 6th song.

I thought maybe there would be some catchy songs like Bejeweled, Karma, and Lavender Haze but nothing like that.

I will give it a re-listen but I will sample the songs you did not get on the CD at Itunes before buying them.

And the new songs will probably be just as boring as the original setlist.

The forgotten classic

None of the songs on Tortured Poets can match this

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

It’s the opening track on her most-streamed, most-popular album. An album that won her second Album of the Year Grammy. Hardly forgotten.
We know you don’t like TPD, Jeff. Don’t need to keep posting decade old songs here to remind us.

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

Did not know her belly button was a heated topic of discussion.

I feel kind of horny thinking about this

The mystery surrounding Taylor Swift‘s belly button continues to intrigue Swifties across the globe. The singer has often tried to avoid showing her belly button in her shows, causing chatter among fans. It remains a legendary, albeit lighthearted, mystery that continues to bewilder the world of pop culture.

According to USA Today, Swift said in an interview with Lucky Magazine in 2014 that she doesn’t like to show her belly button.

“When you start showing your belly button then you’re really committing to the midriff thing,” the pop icon said. “I only partially commit to the midriff thing – you’re only seeing lower rib cage. I don’t want people to know if I have one or not. I want that to be a mystery.”

“As far as anyone knows based on my public appearances, they haven’t seen evidence of a belly button.” she continued. Swift further conveyed that she could be sporting a belly piercing or even have a tattoo around her belly.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the pop star’s wardrobe from 2014 included many crop tops. However, she made sure only her lower rib cage was visible.

Have you watched the ERAS tour concert yet on Disney +? Haven't seen you post about it. Or do you not subscribe to it? I thought you were anxiously awaiting to see it.

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

She probably has several different belly buttons, she chooses which variant to put on each morning after she showers.

“Which button did you get at your show?” is often the talk of the Swiftie community

I finished the Eras Tour on DIsney + before cancelling my subscription.

Will it ever get a Blu-ray or 4k release or be stuck on Disney + forever and the best you can hope for is a Chinese bootleg at Ebay or Etsy?

Taylor stayed up in Liverpool until 4 AM so she could watch Travis and the Chiefs get their Super Bowl rings. ❤️❤️

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

It is nice she got them pizza but Dominos really?

She has the money to buy better pizza or maybe good pizza is hard to find in England.

Taylor Swift and her talented dancers, musicians and backup singers must work up an appetite during her three-hour Eras Tour shows. Which is why fans declared the pop superstar was "so real" when she had Domino's pizzas delivered at a recent concert.

During one of Swift's Liverpool, England shows, two men wearing headphones carried stacks of pizzas backstage at Anfield Stadium.

"Not Taylor getting a Dominos delivery mid-concert," a concertgoer captioned their TikTok video. The clip has attracted more than 1 million views and over 169,000 likes, as of writing

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

Taylor will be heard on a duet she collaborated on with Gracie Abrams called "us" on Abrams new album which comes out tonight. It's written by those two and Aaron Dessner. Looking forward to hearing it.

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

Since another female has a new album coming out tonight does that mean Swift will be releasing another version of The Tortured Poets Deparment with new bonus tracks, also?

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

Dudes, you did see that she contributed a fucking duet to Gracie's album, right? That's going to at least quintuple the interest and streaming numbers for that album.
I get the criticism, but it clearly doesn't apply here.

Didn't see the post you made about Abrams. Oops!

I saw stvn1974's post and looked up what albums were coming out today, and Gracie Abrams was the only name that seemed even vaguely familiar and might be who he was referring to. I really don't follow this kind of music at all.

There's a new Seven Spires album coming out today, but I doubt Adrienne Cowan is on Taylor's radar.
