Re: Most shocking nude scenes in cinema
I feel like a lot of people are just posting memorable nudity here as opposed to shocking nudity.
End of Hereditary.

Watching that as a teenager in the 80s, I just kind of accepted that that would have happened, but now that I'm older and more world-wise, that scene is just weird and unnerving within the context of the movie. That's not something any normal person (or even most abnormal people) would do under those circumstances.

Re: Most shocking nude scenes in cinema
The scenes that come to mind for me are About Schmidt, The Shining, and Toni Collette in 8 1/2 Women. Something like Mark Wahlberg in Boogie Nights would have been shocking if I hadn't known about it well before ever seeing that movie. Seeing Heather Graham in the buff was more shocking for me.
Also, as a 90s kid who had all the premium channels growing up I was well accustomed to seeing landing strips and full bush in glorious 480i. But after moving out of the house after high school, I probably went a good 6-8 years without watching any premium channels. So I was definitely shocked after getting a free preview through Direct TV and tuning into some random Cinemax late night show and seeing HD shaved vaginas everywhere.

Re: Most shocking nude scenes in cinema
When I posted MY BLOODY VALENTINE and LUCKY BASTARD earlier in the thread, I was trying to remember a couple of other movies in which performers similarly spent an exceptionally long period of their screen time in the nude, but kept going blank. DEAD GIRL was one of them (haven't seen THE WOMAN) and the other was THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE. As noted by others, it's debatable if any of this stuff is truly 'shocking' but I'm certainly always a little shocked when actresses in particular agree to film nearly their entire part naked, especially in the #metoo era, but I guess if it's something they're generally comfortable with anyway, and the sets are well controlled, then what have they got to lose in this day and age?

I'm amazed this site is still up. It's been my go to reference for about two decades now. There's no way they license all these scenes that they turn around and profit off of. I have noticed a couple actresses disappear from the site, so I'm guessing they do get some C&D orders.

Here's one.
When I was in junior high, my English class read the novel 1984 by George Orwell. After we read it, our teacher got the VHS of Michael Radford's movie, 1984 to watch. Apparently, she had never seen the movie before and didn't know it had quite a bit of full frontal nudity in it from Suzanna Hamilton.
So we're watching the movie, and in one scene Suzanna, who is sort of slight, mousy woman most of wouldn't have given a second look at, strips down and she's standing there completely naked sporting this massive bush. Most of the guys start laughing and making cat calls, and the teacher, who is at her desk and not watching the movie, doesn't know what's going on. A few minutes later, her next nude scene comes up, and everyone starts giggling and whooping again, and the teacher gets up to see what everyone is reacting to, sees Suzanna's giant beaver, and, mortified, shuts down the tape.
I think she was afraid she'd be fired.

Need more descriptions. Can’t just drop a random movie or poster and expect everyone to know what you’re talking about. Also no I’m not going to just google all of them.

Anne Hathaway in Havoc was pretty shocking because it was right after her stint in the Princess Diaries.

We watched Polanski's Macbeth in high school (after reading the play). When the Playboy logo appeared at the beginning of the opening credits, all the guys in the class hooted, and the film did not disappoint.
