Yup, I went to YT to look up some reactions to the latest Hawkeye episode and there was "_______ _____ Scene" in it's full glory.

Take youtube channels that post spoilerish thumbnails off of your recommended list. I've been doing this the past few wks (even those I subscribe to) and so far I've only seen one. (and it's not a surprise)

I haven't watched The Eternals yet, would there be anything in that movie that I would need to know for this one?

Also I wanted to mention that while No Way Home has a stellar 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, it's only at 71% on Metacritic. So almost everyone likes the movie a little bit, I guess.

No Eternals has nothing to do with Spidey world. The movie was 99% standalone. They just made a quick reference to Thanos and the snap.

This pulled $50m last night, that gets rolled into today for an expected $100m total for Friday

3rd highest "preview" night ever

Stay out of the reviews thread if you haven't seen it, people in there are loving it but yeah massive spoilers galore (obviously enough)

Aaaand the crazies are now out there declaring that the reason why this is making so much money is because "Sony, after learning from their mistake from 2016's Ghostbusters, is abandoning wokeness and giving the fans what they really want. The M-She-U needs to learn from them!"

This was one of the best movies I've ever seen. Not one of the best Spidey movies, one of the best movies period. I agreee, this wasn't a movie, it was an event. It was nothing short of perfect. Loved every second of it.

FYI there is a reviews thread where you can post spoilers in your discussion

https://forum.dvdtalk.com/movie-talk...ws-thread.html

A lot of people who are subscribed to this announcement thread have not seen the movie. So aren't going to get much discussion in this thread about the actual movie.

My review wasn't a spoiler, and I posted first in the spoiler thread lol.

I'm going back and forth with this and Spider-Verse as my favorite Comic Book movie. Ever.

My first reaction when this movie ended, and I had a moment to consider its overall quality, was that it should win the Best Picture Oscar, but probably won't even get nominated.

What does this movie not have in spades? Action, comedy, drama? Yes to all three. Splashy surprises and honest sentiment? Yes, yes. Good to very good performances from every actor in a huge cast? Yes. Is it a fun and smart movie that has audiences packing theaters? Yes.

Movies in theaters and the Oscars can both make a statement about relevance to the public by giving this terrific movie its due.

No spoilers.

The action scenes are what surprised me.
Brutal, fun fight scenes.
