One person I worked with got forcibly transferred for alleged comments made. Nobody really knows what was/n't said, but enough important people presumed it to be accurate that he was on the road to being fired before the Union contested it and got him moved instead.

More worrisome was another pair of individual who - reportedly, but with a higher degree of anecdotal accuracy - were gossiped about until both were officially warned, shifted departments and generally made miserable for being friends. The assumption was that they were 'more than friends', and management frowned on this ill-founded assumption. She cut him off completely for fear of losing her job; he couldn't take the gossip and widespread cod-shouldering and quit.

Of all the stories coming out and all the firings and blacklisting, I feel really bad for Anthony Edwards, what he did took SO MUCH fucking guts and it was in another universe worse than the shit Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer have been accused of. Yet the fact that Gary Goddard molested him and probably raped countless boys is getting absolutely no traction. It already seems forgotten.

Hopefully the fact that he has an upcoming film that he co directed with his pedophile buddy Bryan Singer will draw enough heat that the floodgates will open on both of them.

Being sexually harrassed by an of age adult is tough and these women coming forward are brave as hell. But boys getting raped and molested by men in power. That can be a game over situation. Just ask Corey Haim and Chester Bennington.

The worse abuses are the hardest ones to admit I guess.

So wait...co-workers A and B formed a relationship, A got B pregnant and then B reported A for harassment? Was the pregnancy considered "harassment"? If not, what prompted the harassment report?

This might be lesser known to some people, but add fashion photographer Bruce Weber to the list of the accused. Tony Scott used his photos in the 80s for the inspiration for all the pilots in Top Gun.

Last night, during a screening of "Wag the Dog", moderator John Oliver took Dustin Hoffman to task over his harassment allegations:

How incredibly awkward. Oliver is a douche for using this event to confront Hoffman after he has already dealt with these allegations. Should he be stricken from the earth over a single reported incident? This was not the right place.

yeah he kinda dug himself deeper there, you can tell he remembers being a pig and justifying it as normal because they were a "family". And bravo to John, it takes some balls to bring it up in public. And it was cringe worthy, De Niro was like "i want to disappear" the whole time

Reminds me of when Jim Gray grilled Pete Rose and tried to get him to admit to gambling on baseball during an interview at the World Series where Rose was being honored.

Gray was blasted at the time for being disrespectful, but in retrospect, he was just trying to do his job, meanwhile the years have since exposed Rose as a major lying douchebag.

The idea that there is only a certain time and place to talk about sexual harassment is part of the problem. Kudos to Oliver for going there.

And Hoffman's the one who brought it up again later.

More accusations lobbed at Robert Knepper, including one by a girl I'm friends with:

Dude clearly has a problem. I'd say he should be getting dropped from his CW show any second now...

I disagree somewhat. Did you read about the woman who confronted a Netflix executive at his kid's soccer game about the Masterson stuff? Barring the stupid shit he said to her, nobody should be confronted like that. I have zero problems with her speaking to executives for the company, but you can't just approach people at random times when they are in middle of a family commitment. That is horse shit imho.

In one sense it was absolutely right to poke Hoffman about the issue; the fact that Wag the Dog is about engineering media perception to shield a famous man from accusations of sexual harassment. The movie is a Chinese box at this point.

But on the other hand you must know your audience. That’s your number one job up there as host. And unless you’re Andy Kaufman there’s really no justification for creating the most uncomfortable atmosphere possible for a room full of ticket buyers. Everyone was unsettled by all accounts.

Lionsgate no longer releasing Gotti

Just 10 days before its release date too. Very odd. Lots of rumours about Travolta over the years.

Probably shelved because it’s a piece of shit. The article doesn’t say anything about any sexual improprieties. JT just likes to get handies from male masseuses.

No need for another Gotti movie - there was a good one on HBO 20 years ago with Armand Assante as Gotti. It's available on DVD and well worth watching.

But there have been a lot of odd rumors about Travolta over the years, very true.

What are "rumors" for us civilians, are open secrets in that community.

Harvey Weinstein’s Former Assistant Prepping Sexual Harassment Suit
http://variety.com/2017/biz/news/har...gs-1202631811/

Rehal was quoted in an 8,000-word story in the New York Times on Tuesday, in which she said she had to keep the mogul supplied with Caverject, an injectable drug for erectile dysfunction. Sometimes she would provide the drug shortly before hotel meetings with women, she told the Times.

Most recent blind item about JT is that he was messing with underage boys during Look Whos Talking and Kirstie Alley recorded one of them on video and gave it to the Scientology people which is why they have him locked up despite reports that he wants to leave and doesn't really believe. They forced him to marry Kelly Preston shortly after to quiet those gay rumors about him.
