Legend of Billie Jean - I have no idea why I like this film so much. Maybe its the Pat Benetar music, who knows. But I can't wait for it to be release.

Mame - I just love this film. Have always been into Lucille Ball, and though she was panned quite horribly for this film, its not that bad. Yes her voice was failing, but there was a trend in musical film productions to have less than stellar voices in leading roles. Lucy earned the right to do this film, though, I would love to have seen Angela Landsbury reprise her role as Mame.

Times Square - A farvorite when I was kid. The film inspired my crowd of friends. One even changed her name to Nikki.

Zoolander - I really really really really, really like this film. Any film that has to put off murder because of Fashion week is ok in my book.

Some other great ones in this thread that have already been mentioned:
Xanadu (roller skate choreography, gotta love it. This was Gene Kelly's last feature film)

Agree with Relic and Space Truckers and...
my favorite is Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Great movie, voiceovers are excellent, but every time I mention I like this movie, I get "whaaaaa... that movie sucked" responses.

Heh ... exactly why it's a guilty pleasure .. and not just because I have the unrated version.
As far as your comment goes .. yeah, I thought that Billy Bob (in most roles), Sean Combs (though minor) and - I can't recall his name - the father delivered very good performances. Halle was believable though not outstanding. .. and the character development was convincing enough to feel empathy for these people and their respective situations. Shit, shoot me .. but I took to the film.
Anyway ...

A Steve Martin two-fer for me:
Sgt. Bilko and The Pink Panther; both of these have Martin taking on roles that were owned by their originators (Silvers and Sellers) ... But by golly, the Jerk delivers for me!

Demolition Man -- This movie is balls-to-the-wall awsome!
Joy Luck Club -- Great movie imo. I imagine I'd get quite a razzing from my buddies if they knew I owned this one, lol.
Hot Shots: Part Deux -- Oh baby, I just doesn't get any better.
I might add Nothing But Trouble to this list, but I haven't seen it in over 10 years. I can't remember anything about, I just liked it when I was a kid.

I think OldBoy has gotten to the point where he's asked every possible question, so now he's started over.
All kinds of horror sequels could fall into this category for me. I like Jason X as well. I enjoy Jaws 3, despite its 3.5 rating at imdb.

I probably put "Showgirls" in the other threads on this subject.

Haven't watched either in quite some time, but Wanted and Shoot 'Em Up would probably qualify. Both get a lot of flack, but they're fun as hell.
