I think Fisher's way to tackle his problems with Warner, Whedon, Berg, Hamada or Johns isn't the best way to voice his discomfort. Repeatedly hinting at misconduct and enabling via his Twitter feed is nothing more then starting rumors. He torpedoes his own agenda.

That's what Marvel did in the movies with The Incredible Hulk. Universal's Hulk with Eric Bana five years earlier showed the origin and while The Incredible Hulk isn't the sequel, it kind of felt that way, since they showed a short version of Hulk's origins during the opening sequence. I really liked that. The major character's had been established and Banner was on the run. No lengthy introduction, no gamma ray accident, just the setup and the movie started.
Sony "gave" us three Spider-Man origins in 15 years. I get it, he's bitten by a radioactive Spider.

Regarding Ray Fisher. Kudos for not shuting up, but I'm pretty sure he must be content with being a theatre actor. I don't see him being a successful Hollywood actor in the future.

But Spidey is one character where his supporting cast and his newness as a hero is one of his most compelling traits, whereas with someone like Batman I'd rather see him as established (but not retired).

Fucking Ray Fisher needs to just go away. Sounds like such a wabber in all this. Whedon already appears to have gotten some punishment by being taken off his HBO Max series. We still don’t know exactly what happened. What more does he want at this point?

I saw that too when I looked it up. Never used it for that reason or heard it used for that reason.

Agreed. While I love Affleck in the role, DCCU fucked up when they made batman old. It left them with nowhere to go but another reboot with pattison and not growing with the other characters.
Just with Robin and Batgirl alone Batman could have his own cinematic universe. But no. Just keep rebooting him.

They could have made three Batman films and three Justice League films with Affleck, then cast a younger actor to do a trilogy of Batman prequels set before the Affleck era that would cover things like the death or Robin and how he became so bitter and hard-bitten.
Of course, this is Warners, who wander around blindly with their thumb up their ass when it comes to how to handle the DC properties.

Spider man I'm ok with, at least the last one they had to introduce this (to me weird) idea that Tony Stark replaces Uncle Ben in this newest iteration.

They made up for it in Spider-verse with its half dozen or origin stories.

His crap is just getting old. He keeps on and on about this since July.
We don’t know any actual details of what supposedly happened. There have been a couple investigations into what he’s alleged already. Whedon was fired from his HBO Max series seemingly off the heels of all this. Also on top of it all going after Walter Hamada now. The guy wasn’t even in charge when Justice League was in production.
I’m just not sure what Ray Fisher wants at this point other than attention because he’s going nowhere as an actor.

I say we replace him with Jeff Kober or First Officer Murdoch...

I don't know if it was mentioned, but Hamada said in that NY Times article that they are going to do two simultaneous Batman movie series. Pattinson's version and they will cast a new actor to play Batman in the DCEU. That's going to make things really confusing for some. I know most of you guys won't read long articles, but that Hamada profile is a good read and is pretty informative on his ambitious plans in the coming years.

To make all the story lines work, DC Films will introduce movie audiences to a comics concept known as the multiverse: parallel worlds where different versions of the same character exist simultaneously. Coming up, for instance, Warner Bros. will have two different film sagas involving Batman — played by two different actors — running at the same time.

It was posted a few days ago. Other sites have been running with and reporting it wrong. It’s not two different Batman series. It’s The Batman with Pattinson and The Flash featuring Affleck and Keaton.

Hamada's DC film plan sounds like "We're still throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks, but we're calling it a 'multiverse' now."

But doesn't that mean there will be a recasted Affleck-Batman in the current Earth-1 Universe at some point? I'm pretty sure they will try for a second Justice League movie in the future.

With this announcement, I think is safe to say that we are seeing Batman Beyond or the Next Batman (being released tomorrow at comic book shops) in the near future
