The Predator is returning to the big screen with a new feature film, planned for a March 2, 2018 release. Directed by Shane Black, the movie is mostly a secret so far, outside of the initial teaser poster released.
Well, there may be another return to the franchise, as the original film's star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, says he's going to meet with the director soon. At the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio, the actor told TheArnoldFans.com of his plans.
"I haven’t talked with him (Shane Black) yet but I’m going to meet with him for lunch sometime soon. Just as soon as I’m finished with this (Arnold’s Sports Festival) and "The Apprentice" and all this stuff. But I will get together with him. If there is any news, we’ll of course let you know right away," Schwarzenegger teased.

move on from Arny already in these franchises. Predators didn't need him and i kinda liked it. this most certainly doesn't need him in any capacity. Sly was able to do it (resurrect career), but Arny, not so much.

I don't know, depends on how they cast him. If he's playing something similar to Busey in P2 it might work. It would be neat to see what happened to his character after da chopper.

That's what this movie needs to be, the third movie. Totally not acknowledge that garbage we got last time. Maybe the Governator and Danny Glover. Sort of a geriatric Lethal Weapon, but fighting Predators this time.

I liked Predator 2 and Predators and neither had Arnie. I don't see him as essential for making a good Predator movie.
