This film was filled with so much silliness.
DOCTOR: "Here come some zombies! Feets doan fails me now! *trip* *BLAMMO*"
PITT: "Shit!"
Plane crash in Wales. Piece of airplane sticking out of Pitt, front & back. Still walking distance to the W.H.O.
We're safe in Israel, let's SING!!
Tommy, I know we just met tonight when we kicked in your apartment door, but now that we've caused your parents' deaths, would you like to be part of the family?
Would rather have seen film end with the Battle of Moscow instead of the Marco Polo Game of Wales.

The only benefit I had from watching this is I understood all of the in-jokes and riffs in the South Park episode "World War Zimmerman."
Someone I know ranted and raved over how amazing this movie was, so I sat down and watched it a few weeks ago. I must have missed something because it felt like a generic zombie actioner that was boring in most parts and was hammy.
I think I read somehwhere they greenlit a prequel. Ok then.

Bump - does anyone know about this supposed "new unrated cut"? I liked the movie enough to watch it again, just don't know if this is worth watching. I haven't heard anything about this before. 116 min for theatrical cut, this one looks to be 123.

New? Seems like the old unrated cut that had more CGI blood in addition to the character that loses a hand on the airplane. IDK

I enjoyed the movie well enough but they really need to add about 25 minutes to that mess of a third act. Get some sort of semblance of a story there.
