So has anyone here watched some of Bruce Willis’s b movies? The Red Letter Media videos have made me curious to watch a few of them even they said they suck.

I saw Cosmic Sin was on Netflix and checked it out since it won Bruce the Razzie (that was later rescinded).

Wow! Who knew Ed Norton was that funny? And when he gets serious at the end, it's moving and touching. Since I haven't watched an Ed Norton movie in, like, 20 years, and I've never seen a Wes Anderson movie, I wouldn't know if Norton's ever done anything that actually utilized his comic talents. Has he?

I think he does pretty well in Wes' movies. But then, I like Wes Anderson movies.

maybe not comedic, but nice little rom-com he directed called Keeping the Faith was pretty good. not slapstick or anything remotely close, but lighthearted and fun.

Death to Smoochy was pretty funny.

Probably because the photo they used of Bruce looks like it comes from the 90s.

That’s a decent cast too! Even though they’re all pretty much passed their prime and have their careers squarely in Direct-to-Video territory. It’s still nice to see actors other than Chad Michael Murray and Patrick Muldoon.

I'd watch it just for Olga

Shitty poster, but I'm more intrigued by this more than many of the other recent Willis films because of the director, who's done some above average DTV stuff in recent years, including TRIPLE THREAT, ACCIDENT MAN, AVENGEMENT (and even some films without Scott Adkins). I find the action design in several of his films to be comparable to bigger-budgeted films, probably owing to his extensive history of stunts and stunt coordination in studio pictures.

Yea, JVJ does seem pretty good work with DTV action.

He's been slumming it of late in recent years. I guess the Hollywood jobs are drying up for him and he's headed down the path of Cage and Willis in forgettable DTV movies.

Malkovich said he took this role in DTV Shattered because he knew the producers and was seemingly able to cast the hot young female lead.

At least John Malkovich did a good job on Space Force. The show isn't the best, but his performance was fantastic.

I wouldn't put Nic Cage in with most of the other geasers. While most of his movies aren't great and some are forgettable, he doesn't phone it in, most of the time he's the lead and some of his movies are real gems.

Re: The One and Only Bruce Willis Thread

I rented Vendetta from Red Box and just finished it.

It's basically a Death Wish rip-off. Kind of ironic considering Willis starred in a Death Wish re-boot. Anyways, Willis isn't even the star or the hero. He has a really small part as one of the bad guys.

Clive Standan, from Vikings and Taken, is the lead and serves as the protagonist. The movie is very low budget. It looks like it was filmed in like 3 locations in Georgia and probably was shot in like a month.

Mike Tyson  and Thomas Jane have small parts. The acting is terrible overall.

My goodness, how many more of these Bruce Willis movies are in the pipeline? I did watch one or two that names can't be recalled, but they were forgettable.

A lot of these Willis movies seem to film in small cities in the U.S. They must be getting great tax breaks.

He's been in a few of these DTV movies with Willis (Marauders, 10 Minutes Gone, Trauma Center, Hard Kill).
